My father has been at this facility for about four years. When we first moved in, the manager was fantastic. There was truly nothing they could have done better. Many posts here mention Mallory, and for good reason—her leadership was outstanding. However, when Mallory moved on, the new manager who took over wasn’t quite up to the task. Every day, it felt like the facility and the quality of care were deteriorating rapidly. Then, last year, she was removed from her position, and Cindy stepped in. I was hopeful, but to be honest, I didn’t realistically believe anyone could turn things around. We even started looking for new places to move my father. That search, however, ended almost immediately because Cindy quickly brought in excellent people who genuinely care. Under her leadership, the facility now feels like a place where my father is treated with the dignity he deserves after a life well lived. This is my second review. My first was glowing praise for Mallory, but I had to remove it after the previous manager’s negligence. Now, I’m happy to endorse Esprit Whispering Ridge again. Cindy and her team are making an incredibly hard job look easy, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you!

Esprit has been an exceptional place for my grandpa over the last 8 years. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. My grandpa was very happy living here and was also very well taken care of over the years. All the staff is so helpful and willing to give the extra attention that is sometimes needed for the residents. The staff is very informative and always friendly and goes over and above to meet the residents and families needs. I would highly recommend Esprit to anyone who is needing to find great care for a loved one.
My mom has been a resident at Esprit for over 3 years. Leaving their home and transitioning to assisted living is always challenging for our loved ones. I have been extremely happy with the care and attention that my mom has received at Esprit and it has truly helped her transition to this next stage in her life. Seeing her happy with all her friends and being social has been so gratifying for me. I know when I am not there that she is in good hands. Lisa , the Executive Director, truly cares about the residents and has years of experience in the medical and care giving field For me, Esprit feels like Family and hearing my mom say “ she loves it there” makes me so glad we choose Esprit for her care.
I found the day-to-day staff in the memory care part of Whispering Ridge to be very kind and helpful. I didn’t see employee drama that I saw at another facility. Management was kind, sympathetic, and responsive. My husband was there a very short time before he passed but everyone we had contact with was wonderful.
We had my mom there...in the year she was things came up missing..a kitchen chair, her walker...her glasses and her wedding ring set. When we asked about it they said unless we knew when they were taken they couldn't do a thing about it. One aide brought us 5 pairs of glasses she found and asked if any were hers....really??? Unless you want your loved ones stuff taken....stay far away!!
