Encore Champlin has been a wonderful experience for our family. The administrator Beth is amazing and truly the reason why this location is as great as it is. She is personable, helpful, intelligent and genuinely cares about the residents. Updating Review February 2025: While the administrator and much of the staff are excellent, there are clear problems with Encore. We are currently having problems with a tax document, and the woman who is in charge of said document can't be bothered to reply. Anything to do at the corporate level is ignored. I'm pretty sure I'd have to dress myself in money to get anyone to bat an eye. Racism and a basic denial of medical science is another huge concern, although again, corporate seems to only care if they aren't getting money. It's a shame, but I would say look elsewhere. Update March 2025: While I appreciate the response from Encore, it felt and read as robotic and callous as things are becoming here. I have attached photos for your viewing. I don't for one second believe the VP and maybe even owner are unaware of this. I'm also almost quite certain that the canned response will be "we can't do anything about behavior that occurs outside of work."- which I will say is complete garbage as the MN Nursing Board has corrected behavior and numerous other companies take unethical and dangerous behavior very seriously. Other care facilities do take an actual "zero tolerance" for this mess because they know it bleeds over into professional environments. You can't turn your racism and science denial off and on when you work in a medical field. Maybe you just want more profit and know you low- ball wages so you are willing to accept someone who puts lives in danger and carries a white supremacist view. There ARE residents of color here, and I worry they receive subpar (consciously or not) by this employee. Imagine the subordinates that work under her that are people of color...what a shame. Encore may or may not have members of the lgbtqa+ community working and living here. Yet the powers that be uphold and embrace hateful beliefs and behaviors. These insane views are not limited to facebook, this employee writes in to newspapers and kind of anywhere that will listen. Just last night she told a resident that they had to find their own way home from urgent care... I will say to anyone reading this- if your loved one is on a waiver and they aren't receiving services you think they should, grab their service agreement, read it and then report the concern to the case manager assigned to your loved one. If Encore will not provide the service, nor correct dangerous employees, a take back (give some taxpayer money back to the state!) should and can occur. If you are a private pay person- come on I doubt there are that many because newer buildings offer way more bang for your buck, but you have a voice too. Please feel free to reach out to me personally and I will help you understand documents.

I’m thankful for the great care my loved one is receiving at Encore. The staff have been great and very caring towards her. This has been a huge relief for me. The facility has always been clean and has a nice welcome feel to it. They also do a lot of fun activities, too.
Encore Senior Living has been a godsend for us. They truly care about the safety and well being of my mom. They are quick to call if something is amiss. They have a vigorous activities program and lots of events for mom to attend. It's a small facility so if you're looking for that extra personal care then this place is for you.
Great team and great care for our loved one. The team is caring, fun, there are many activities to participate in! The facility is always clean and bright! The apt our loved one is in, is spacious.
Excellent care for my mom. Very personal care. Small number of residents so my mom knows everybody and feels safe. I highly recommend this facility.
