The most racism group I have ever seen. Deb is the head nurse is so rude and shouts at everyone and has no respect for any staff members, residents or visitors. Deb, Natalie and family members have their own small group controlling everything. I don't trust anything there.

Mum went on 2 weeks respite. Absolutely Fantastic place ! The staff were awesome ... All of them. Now Mum has changed over to permanent living. She loves it and we can bring our old dog to visit also.
Went there for a job and I must say the lady that was at the reception was genuinely so rude. Unfortunately, I don't know her name but she had glasses on with maroon hair. As soon as I walked into that aged care she would not stop picking on me, the first time she has been rude to me I let it slide but on the second time that's when I lost it and told why she was speaking to me the way she was and that's when she started raising her voice and make a whole scene. She definitely needs more training on how not to be rude to people and how to speak to people nicely!!
No communication on lost property of my Mother's whilst there on respite. They choose to ignore my emails, hoping their silence I will go away. I can assure Emerald Life I will not. I put a positive review, which I plan on removing. Either my mother's belongings are there, or how do they disappear? Her near new walker aid is missal metal clip section. Surely, if found with common sense it would be kept. Yet again, my email requests regarding this missing part has been ignored. I highly do not recommend Emerald Life, felt my mother was traumatised Regarding eating food. She has bad dementia and still struggling to tell her she is home not at Emerald Care. Really, under recommendation so bitterly disappointed.
Unfortunately, the two weeks respite care with Emerald Life was not a positive experience for our family. My father lost 10kg in the 2 weeks he was there but no one noticed this pretty drastic weight loss. He was sent home with a cough (which turned into pneumonia 3 days later and then spent the next 2 weeks in hospital). The day he was discharged from this facility, he was presented to us in his pajamas and allowed to walk out this way! (We were told they stop washing 3 days prior to discharge so as not to mix up the laundry). He died 4 weeks and 2 days after leaving Emerald Life. We feel his demise was hastened by this facility as no one noticed his decline in health, and they should have!
