Embassy’s Tessera location In Brandon FL is disgraceful. Food quality was disgraceful. Residents going to hospital weekly for falls. And skin tears only wear my mom’s wedding band was often. Red plate s posted to show unattended meds left on table cause techs do not guarantee residents take them. No accountability or follow up from Embassy or the management team in the building.
The managers of Embassy from Corporate to the local level do not care about your loved one. Their facilities are poorly rated with high turnover of both floor staff and Corporate staff. They don't listen to family members and could care less. Oh yes, the commercials are great. They try to reel you in. Don't believe the bull. The food is disgusting and usually served by someone young and inexperienced. The quality is not fit for an animal and yet they take your money. If you come across a nursing home and Embassy owns it, look elsewhere. Your loved one's life deserves more.
My brother was a patient at Embassy in Painesville Township for a few months. During the last part of his stay, I was told by the director that if he didn't pay his "bill" he might be sent to a homeless shelter or to a relative. My brother has been on medicaid for a long time. I didn't know any better, so I wrote a couple of checks totalling 2200.00. This was at a point when he was close to passing away. I strongly feel those monies are his, and should be refunded to his estate.
Shelborne nursing home in Butler County, PA is the disgrace of the company they try serving recalled food and they are ignorant to their residents and staff and they don't care about residents at all and they have mold growing in kitchen and in basement that they wipe/scrape off and cover up and they already have state involved and they don't care at all this place needs closed because the living of the residents isn't happy all residents want that place closed and it's insanity if this company keeps it open to put other residents or workers through what they are put through.
