2/21/25 I called Ashlee and GG on phone earlier and they both were attentive and detailed in their experience on managing their facility. I called my Mom to meet me at Sky Lake. Today, my Mom and I met w/ Ashlee and GG. They were very professional, and supportive for my Dad's future long term care home. They spoke in great detail about their facility and services provided. Ashlee is the Admissions Director and GG is the Medicaid expert and will monitor my Dad's application. We were pleased with the various programs offered for our seniors. We appreciate Ashlee and GG and your facility!! Thank you, Rup

My mother received excellent care at Elms Haven. The staff was attentive and caring, not only to my Mother's needs, but to our family as well. The nurses and CNA's were wonderful. I am so thankful that they were there to care for my mother in her final months. Thank you so much.
I am a resident here at Elms. I have experiencence very good treatment and the staff are very sympathetic to my needs. I was wheelchair bound when I first arrived and since being here I can already walk and I use the wheelchair minimally. The PT and OT team are great. Nursing team are awesome and scheduled medication are always given on time everyday. The nurses schedule all of my outside appointments and they are very accommodating to my needs. I would say if there were issues that needed to be resolved, I just need to ask the the the nurse manager or the administrator and they will get it resolved immediately.
This review is for my father and what I witnessed while he was at this facility. The staff gets 4 stars for doing the best they could with what seemed like limited resources. The facility itself is very gloomy and no place I would recommend sending a loved one. He doesn't complain much so when he said he wasn't being fed properly, I knew he wasn't lying. The pic below is an idea of a "meal". Send your family to a different facility if possible or check on them often if this is the only option.
If you have a choice to place your loved one in a care facility, DO NOT place them in Elms haven/ Genius!! The care is awful! Went to visit mom her clothes have not been changed in four days. There were ants in her bed and all over her room! She will be moved this week!!! Needless to say they give no amount of care or compassion to the residents. Awful just awful. Breaks my heart knowing this and feel so sorry for those that are there. And have no where else to go. God bless the residents who have to endure such horrible conditions.
