I could not ask for a better place to care for my dad. Our family was extremely hesitant to place him in an assisted living facility but we knew we needed the extra help. From the referral process to him being a resident- it has been effortless. They really do mean it when they tell families that they’re an extension of the resident’s family. There’s always a friendly voice ready to help when I call the facility, there’s an amazing administrative, staff support and case management team that go above and beyond to ensure my dad is safe, happy and healthy. The facility is clean and recently renovated. The facility is filled with plants- which is such a nice personal touch. There are amazing dining options. My dad loves the food, it’s probably his most favorite part of the day. There’s so many activities! My dad loves the activities in the main hall. The care is absolutely excellent. My dad loves the staff. He always says how well he’s being treated and when our family visits, we can see how well he’s treated. The staff knows everything happening with him and everyone knows him. I made the right decision by having my dad be a resident here. My family and dad absolutely recommend this place. We are truly grateful to have an option like Elm York for him. I am so grateful to be living at Elm York Assisted Living. From the very beginning, the staff has been incredibly supportive, always ready to assist me with any needs I have. Their dedication to my well-being has made such a difference in my life. They don't just take care of the basics; they genuinely guide me through my journey, ensuring I feel safe, comfortable, and valued. The food is always delicious, and I can tell the kitchen staff takes great pride in preparing meals that are not only nutritious but also flavorful. The administrator, Alla Barakov, has been a tremendous help, always available to address my concerns and offer solutions when needed. The nursing team, case managers, medication staff, housing management, and recreation staff all go above and beyond to provide excellent care and attention. Even the front desk team is always welcoming and helpful. It's clear that everyone here is dedicated to making sure I have the best experience possible. At Elm York Assisted Living, I feel like more than just a resident I feel like a part of a community. I couldn’t ask for a better place to call home.

Elm York has been wondering for my uncle who is a resident here. The staff and administration has been working hard and amazing towards my uncles concerns and needs. My uncle was not very patient with staff however the staff would hands on with my uncle to address his needs and problem. I admire that the staff working hard knowing that my uncle came from a different country. I value respect for that facility my uncle received care such as getting meals and foods and attending fun activities in the recreational place. I wish to thank Elm York for the dedication that is provided and want to wish everyone a happy new year.
My sister had been sick mentally for the past 40 some years , she’s now 74 years old, we had switched many places for her until about 25 years ago we found Elm York , and we decided that this is the place for her remaining years , Alla is doing a fantastic job administering this place , the cleanness, the hygiene, the professional and friendly staff …etc., are just impeccable, and she knows every resident personally, she and her staff are working closely with residents families, we can sleep well knowing that our love one is in a good place with the best staff ! Highly recommend !
