To begin I would like to say how at peace I am knowing that my Father is in the care of the staff at Juniper Village at Naples. I am not an expert critic of the elderly care facilities but being that this is my second parent resident of several facilities, Juniper Village at Naples is by far the best! What makes a facility the best is the staff. Since day 1 meeting with Maria (Exec Dir), Gay, Maria, Sharon and the attending staff I was set at ease. They are truly interested in the care, and well being of the family members left in their hands. I am so happy that they were able to open the doors and accept my Father into their family. I truly feel that they now are my family also.

We recently moved my mother to Juniper Village Wellspring Memory Care in Naples, FL from assisted living in another state. It had become apparent she needed an additional level of care, so we began our search in preparation for moving her. Juniper immediately stood out because of its cottage-style living concept. Mom has been a resident at Juniper Village for about 3 months now. She has enjoyed being able to freely walk around the peaceful, fenced grounds, and the smaller number of residents per cottage has been less intimidating to her. There are numerous activities designed to engage, and some are even personalized to the residents. This has all helped her to easily adjust to her new surroundings. Interactions with the trained staff and management have been very positive, and we have found all the staff to be welcoming and compassionate. They really seem work as a team and strive to provide the best possible care. We are very happy with the environment Juniper Village provides, would not hesitate to recommend Juniper to anyone evaluating options for memory care in Naples.
Juniper Village Naples is a wonderful facility. It provides a very caring and peaceful environment. Maria, Gay and all of the administrative group treat everyone like family. Sharon was very helpful and informative regarding my Mother’s situation. They are always ready to discuss and help resolve any issues with your loved ones. They treated my Mom in a loving and respectful manner. I will always be grateful to everyone at Juniper for their understanding and kindness.
Juniper Village is one class act! From the professional staff and attendants to the groundskeepers and care givers, everyone has a pleasant smile and a comforting voice. Every necessary staff member keeps in close contact , by phone or text message or email. My mom's health is bouncing back, quickly! I was so worried about her transition, but, she's HAPPY! She has made friends, she loves the food, and she's very involved! The cottage setting is so comforting and feels like home. Thank you ,Juniper, for loving my mom!
After careful consideration and months of disappointment with Dad's care with a prior facility located in Naples, I decided to move my Dad into The Opal at North Naples. I am so thankful I did. The staff was very upfront and informative during the onboarding process. I was given the Assistant Directors cell phone number, so if I had any questions or issues during or after hours I could text or call her, enabling us to communicate his transition throughout the day or night if necessary. That is unheard of anywhere else. Yes Margaret, truly responds to me in a timely manner, very reassuring, she truly cares. She checked on Dad and myself everyday for the first week to ensure a successful transition for me and Dad both. Acknowledging how hard and scary it is moving your loved one. The nursing staff is a breath of fresh air, their interaction with me, my family and Dad has been outstanding. The maintenance personnel even came by to introduce herself and did a great job getting his room ready in a short amount of time. The Doctor and Head Nurse met with us move in day to go over his needs and med list, making the transition very pleasant and reassuring. From the day he moved in they all have been tentative to Dad's needs, his mobility and interactions have improved greatly. He has started to participate in the activities which was zero at the previous facility and the smile on his face and the tone of his voice when I visit is proof he is happy. He is always clean and very comfortable, which is a big change from his facility before coming to The Opal. His room and belongings are kept clean on a regular basis, the dining area and shared living space are so beautiful, decorated, well kept and accommodating, we absolutely just love the memory box outside his bedroom door. The activities Director, sends me photo's and texts when Dad participates in pet therapy and other group events, there is something to attend virtually every day, she sends me pictures allowing me to see how well he's doing when I am not able to attend or visit. They allow the residents to go outdoors in a very secure area which has improved my Dad's ability to feel Independent. I absolutely love the smaller cottage style living, perfect for Dad as the previous memory care facility was too large, appeared to look like a hospital, rather than a place of residence and at The Opal he just feels safe, so important for memory care residents and their families. Dad is also walking on his own with his walker again, before he moved to The Opal he was mostly in his wheelchair or sleeping. The staff speaks to him like a person not a patient. I contribute their specialized care to improving his level of depression, in a very short amount of time, as he struggles with depression suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Their secluded yet easily accessible location gives you the feeling of peace. It has been a blessing for Dad and my whole family, that we found The Opal at North Naples. Thank you! Deana
