I would not recommend this facility even to my worst enemy. My mother was there and experiencing a stroke. Nedra the so called nurse waited 4 hrs to call an ambulance. She never fully recovered from that stroke. We then moved her to a wonderful facility in Guilderland. Please do not send a loved one to Elderwood in Latham

My mom is a resident here in the memory care unit of Elderwood and I could not ask for a better place for her. The staff are incredibly loving and caring. I highly recommend Elderwood Village
My aunt has and continues to get wonderful care. I love how they all treat the family members of their residents like part of their community. I know how challenging it can be working with the elderly and I feel the staff go over and beyond. It's a calling that they are answering.
