I am beyond grateful for the support we received from ElderTree Care for almost two years, through an extremely tumultuous time in my mother's final years. This included navigating my mother's mental health crisis and involuntary geriatric hospitalization in another part of the state; several ER visits following falls -- including a severe fall when I was out of the country, staying with my mom and keeping me up to date until I could get back; two short-term rehabilitation stays; a move into assisted living, hoping that would be the right fit for her, and then a move into nursing home / long-term care when it became clear that she needed that level of care; helping me navigate qualifying for Medicaid; and regular visits with my mother, coordination with her care providers, and emotional and informational support to me. I simply cannot imagine going through all of this without the compassion, expertise and caring guidance from Deirdra and the rest of the team. ElderTree Care was always there for me, to answer any question, to point out things I had not noticed or considered, to advocate alongside me for the best care for my mom. Their services were worth every penny and I recommend them highly.

ElderTree was easily the best decision we could have made -- worth every penny. I wish I had known about them sooner and I'm so glad I made it a non-negotiable with my dad who had been really resistant to 'outside' help. Even though I live locally, my dad was just too much for me to handle. I'm so blown away by the care and attention provided by the two care managers we had during our time with ElderTree. My dad has always been a very opinionated guy with countless particularities. These care managers cared for him and thought about him as though he was their own family. I trusted them implicitly and relied on their expertise to provide me with options and help to collaborate on solutions. Having the whole team behind them to provide 24/7 on-call for emergencies came in handy more than once. While I was across the country on a work trip, there was a huge emergency that involved police, emergency medical staff, and back-to-back hospitalizations and I honestly don't know how I could have handled that without them.
I've had the absolute pleasure of working with Elder Tree Care Management in regards to several of their clients transitioning to The Virginian senior living. Heidi Travis and Mindy Lee are absolutely exceptional. I'm sure all of their team members are but I've worked closely with these two team members on helping a few clients move in who needed Assisted Living and Memory Care. I must say that they go above and beyond in making sure that every aspect of their clients needs are taken care of. Mindy has the patience of a saint. She has been available by phone at all hours, even working late into the evening and showing her client our community and making sure that he felt satisfied in making this transition. She made sure that all t's we're crossed and I'll i's dotted to ensure this residents move was complete. I feel that elder tree is the best of the best in Care Management organizations. In a heartbeat I would recommend them to any of my residents who needed extra Care Management assistance. Five stars to this entire team.
As an owner of a residential assisted living facility, the care managers at ElderTree are always on top of things when it come their clients. Fast, efficient and friendly. We work together to make sure care is consistent and timely for their clients. It makes my staff's job easier when they have such knowledgable support coming from ElderTree. Even if you only use them for an initial consultation and hopefully more, the wealth of knowledge and the potential savings you can gain is pretty significant.
