Thank you thank you thank you..I dont know what we would have done with out you.. your organization is sooo kind, caring, knowledgeable and affordable.. After mom was released from the rehab, for breaking her hip, we only had 2 hours to find a live in caregiver. YOU were there for my mom as soon as she got home and have been taking wonderful care of her for the last 4 months. Thank-you for your constant communication and giving me peace of mind knowing mom was well taken care of.

Terrible service! First of all, the caregiver showed up 3 hours late! Totally unacceptable!! And I could tell she wasn’t happy or comfortable being out in the country so she had very little interest in being there. I went over everything with her and I went home. I get a call from her at 9 pm saying that my dad was in his basement and she couldn’t get him to go back upstairs. She was not equipped with any techniques to handle a dementia patient. Then at 11 pm she rings my phone again and says that he’s not sleeping and that she was leaving in the morning and that it was a waste of her gas coming there. Wow, what a caring caregiver! I told her she could not leave until I found someone to be there. I called back at 1 am to see how things were going and she said he still wasn’t sleeping although it very much sounded like she woke him up to put him on the phone. She was attempting to use the excuse that he wasn’t sleeping to say that it wasn’t going to work out. Needless to say, I embarrassingly had to call the prior caregiver & her staff to come back to provide care. This agency should do a better job screening their caregivers and placing them and perhaps not take on dementia patients with the uninterrupted sleep requirement because it’s quite common for dementia patients to be restless, especially with a new caregiver in the home. Absolute nightmare of an experience from start to finish!
I wanted to take a moment to write a review of this fantastic organization. I'm starting to discover that there are a lot of families facing the situation where they are trying to help their elderly parents who have developed dementia. For those of you in this situation I wish you strength going forward. EVERY situation where we've dealt with emergency rooms, doctor's office, referrals, insurance companies, prescriptions has been an eye opening experience and I feel very badly for our elderly population that may have to deal with these things all on their own. Every step of this process has felt like a road block (seven weeks into this process and we're STILL waiting for a call from a neurologist that her doctor referred TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT!!! Then along came Elderly Caregivers. When the hospital was discharging our mom early with nowhere for her to safely go, Elderly Caregivers stepped up and found us a caregiver within HOURS. Jennifer was the first person we had spoken to in nearly two weeks who made us feel that there are actually people out there who still care about providing service to their clients. The caregiver they sent to care for our mom was the second person we had spoken to who also made us feel that there are people out there who still care about providing service. Adisha came to my mom's house and has worked tirelessly to provide a safe and clean environment for our mother. She was immediately accepted as a member of our family. We can't ever thank her enough for the hard work, attention to detail and impeccable care that she provided for our mother. If you are searching for an agency to provide care for a loved one in your life we highly recommend Elderly Caregivers. Everything about working with them has been a shining light in a tunnel that can become very dark for families when faced with difficult health situations.
The caregiver who worked with us was extremely helpful, compassionate, professional, and kind. We would recommend her to anyone who wishes to engage a compassionate caregiver.
We have used Elderly Caregivers for approximately 18 months during two different phases of our parent's care. They have been extremely responsive to our needs and have worked to find us quality caregivers. The home visits have ensured that they have a good grasp of our family dynamic and living situation. Our concerns and requirements have been addressed whenever there has been an issue. From the background information they supply on their employees, it is clear that they are dedicated to finding the best placements they can in as timely a manner as possible. When you work with Elderly Caregivers, it is truly a partnership to find reliable care for your family. The depth of experience and professional attention they bring to what can be such a difficult and taxing situation is so valuable, and it is tremendously appreciated. We can highly recommend their services without reservation.
