This place is a terrible place to send your loved one!! My mother was sent there for rehab. She was supposed to be walked 3 times a day, and have therapy every day. She did not get that treatment. We had to call several times regarding care not being given. There were days when she got no therapy, no one walking her and even not getting the meds she was supposed to get. When she put her light on to be walked staff would come in, ask what she wanted, then walked out and never returned. She told the staff multiple times about her legs beginning to swell but no one addressed the issue. When she returned home they sent another patients meds home with her. Now she has to go back to the hospital because her legs are swollen and leaking plus she may now have CHF!!! NEVER take your loved one here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend was sent to the hospital from this facility. The room was supposed to be held for 15 days, but after 3 days another friend and I returned for her things. The bed wasn't made, there were 2 full drinks on the hospital tray, food on the tray, dirty hospital socks thrown on the bathroom floor, and used hospital gloves on the bathroom. My friend had Gangrene and an infection that left the socks soaked. I am a former CNA and I know the protocol. This was outrageous. I should never have had to glove up and clean up, but I am not their staff, so unlike the staff, I did the job! Also, her 60×50 elephant blanket disappeared. Go figure. When you call to complain you get sent to an answering machine, or you are told that the staff is busy! Busy doing what? I will never let anyone I know go here!
I would like to share our experience with EdenBrook in Oshkosh. It is a very hard decision for any family to put their loved one in any type of facility but, they made it extremely comfortable and easy. Soon after my mom arrived unfortunately she did qualify for hospice. The night before my mom passed we spent the night to be with her, and by her side, one of the c n a's brought snacks and drinks in for us. That was a gesture that was so appreciated that they did not have to do. The staff was absolutely wonderful and always took in consideration how sad and challenging It is to have a loved one that is sick. Cindy the administrator was absolutely wonderful. And again, the staff was fantastic!! I want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all you did for our mother and continue to do for all of your patients. Thank you❤️❤️❤️
I would give a zero if I could but I had to give at least a one star. If this is the only option you have, try to hold out and get in somewhere else. Poor care, dirty and residence rooms are not cleaned very often. They thought it was acceptable to put toothbrush and toothpaste in a bedpan on the floor. And when it's not in a bedpan on the floor in the bathroom, they still think it's acceptable to put in a container on the floor. Even when the resident has a toothbrush and toothpaste in a container on top of their nightstand. Resident was in the hospital for a week and they had a week to clean the room which they chose not to. They had the bedspread on the floor and used the same dirty bedspread when the resident came back. We saw it on the floor when we came to pick up the resident's cell phone. When I asked if they had another comforter the nurse was huffy and said we don't have anymore. I said well. The reason I'm asking is because that one's dirty and it's the same one that was on the floor when he went to the hospital. A CNA heard and within 5 minutes we had another bedspread. They have an ant problem or other bug problem and they blame it on residence eating snacks. But if the rooms were cleaned regularly, it wouldn't be an issue. Things are sticky on the floor on the bedside table and no one wipes it off. It's family members that come that wipe it off. The nurse manager on this side is very rude and The director of Nursing doesn't say anything but gives a half grin. If you're on the rehab side, yes, it's different than the nursing home side. They make it look nice. So when you have to come back to the nursing home you'll want to go there, Lol. When you talk to the administrator she says she will call you back and never gives you a call back. It has happened to several family members. If this is what you're looking for in a skilled nursing home, then go right ahead if you don't care for your loved one. From the top down I'm not too sure any of them care just as long as they're getting that monthly paycheck from the state and the resident. The first picture is from last weekend May 26 2024. I asked if they had a broom and a dustpan. The little black things are ants or bugs that are dead and items that have been there probably for a week or so. We moved resident to a much better place.
Tried applying here their site wouldn’t let me through instead of them helping me try to figure it out. They were like sucks to be you man. You wanted the job here so you got to try to figure it out so I didn’t understand the fact that I had to just force my way through the Internet, like an IT guy I know nothing about computers like that. But they’re expecting me to try to figure this out on my own when it’s completely definitely on their end it definitely says it too! We’re just gonna have to go with somebody else now.
