I came to Eden Supportive Living as living alone was becoming next to impossible. After having lived in such facilities including nursing homes, I must say that living here is a blessing. The food is wonderful for the most part, and I have to say that my studio on the 7th floor is a beautiful and spacious abode. I must confess that before life threw me into the deep end of existence, I thought I could get along with anyone and deal with anything. Through trial and error - mostly error, I learned that this was not the case at all. Take me out of my socio-economic background and I feel like a fish out of water. Not due to ill-will or hatred, but 99.9 of the residents or even workers make me weary of life. It is interesting to note that out of hundreds of residents here, I feel comfortable with only one or two. Others make me feel like a fish out of water. Literally. The Administrator is wonderful, and so is the lady in the Business office, quite antithetical to established stereotypes. In order to make this review reflect verisimilitude, I must add that the Director of Nursing is hideously incompetent, cruel at best, and should be looking for a better-suited vocation; something that doesn't involve human beings. She, in fact, is the sole reason, why I want to move out. Her incompetence is such that I don't think I could look forward to life beyond a year or two. All that said, I do think that Eden is a cut above the rest. I hope a stringent review of its personnel could be carried out so that it could be even better.

Eden is a great place to live. All of the staff are fantastic! Jesse, Candace, Shateque, PJ, Nikki, Trey and so many others are so amazing. The kitchen staff are wonderful and I love the food. There are also trips to different stores so we can shop and get the things we need. There are arts and crafts. I don’t want to live anywhere else.
Eden is a family for many of the people who live here. About one review by Abe Cabera... Yes management has been offering incentives for people to write reviews. But you receive the t-shirt regardless of what you write. Also I never see you downstairs eating, you get your food to go. Of course you get plastic silverware with a to go order. The apartments are beautiful and all have great views. The bathrooms are more spacious than what a similar facility in Peoria has. The vinyl wood flooring is beautiful. Are there things that can be improved? Of course. People could be more sensitive of other residents. As for the reviewer who mentioned gossip...then stop spreading it. Including some pictures including the early morning view from my apartment
Been setting up shop at Eden now I have found my sorta place to negotiate a living standard that out succumbs any other location...have been around long time and the Eden styles are far by choice a compliment to what I want to go on in golden years...by the way the staff are very supportive when I'm down and out or wrong with any situation they bring me back to life...for the best and most influencing positive and discerningly welcome mat I would suggest that one can live in good esteem at Eden
i have lived here for 5 years. it has been quiet and I sometimes get privacy from other residents. the housekeeping staff is very good. sometimes I don't get my meals on time. other than that it is great here. it would be nice if we could have snacks all throughout the day. also, it would be nice if we could have a fountain pop machine in the lobby area. I wish we could have stronger security here. a certain time that everyone has to be in the building that way you can lock the doors.
