We visited a friend today and were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. Our friend has been greatly helped by the physical therapy team. We were encouraged by the willingness to meet and the clarity of Sarah from the business office. Our friend reported that the facility seemed understaffed, particularly at night, but otherwise has had a very positive stay.

It was always a pleasure working with this facility. The care and compassion from the whole nursing staff and the administrator was heartfelt. They have a truly, amazing vent unit with highly skilled and trained respiratory professionals. They are a sub-acute facility, which means they are caring for the most medically fragile patients. Their dementia care is 24 hours and supervised. Their goal is to return the patient home as soon as possible. The rehabilitation team is committed to providing outstanding results with care for your loved one. I can’t say enough about what this facility can provide along the lines of care, empathy, and compassion ❤️
Great place to work! Great place to live! Starting with Mike the administrator, he sets the tone with high expectations. All of the staff care and want to make sure everything is right. Ownership is great, Mark and Rafi know what needs to be done. Sara handling the business office, Stefon making sure everything is clean and neat and of course Shayna in charge of the social services. Mordy taking care of the maintenance projects!! The corporate team with Kerry and Stephanie always know what the nursing staff needs to succeed! Highly recommended
I’ve been employed with Eastbrook Healthcare Center as a Nurse for approximately a year and a half. I can honestly say this is the only Nursing Home I’ve been employed at where I feel at home. I have worked at several Nursing Homes in the suburbs and I always felt they all never truly cared about patient care such as Eastbrook Healthcare. Eastbrook has a new Director of Nursing and she’s a teaching supervisor. I love that because it’s always something new to learn and she has a vast amount of experience to help new Nurses. The Human Resources manager is fair and is on top of her game! I can attest that the STNA’s really care about the residents. I’ve seen them go beyond their duties to make the residents feel at home. The Administrator is very attentive to the needs of the employees and is very approachable. This guy has a heart of goal. Whenever you stop by his office, the door is open and if you need something he’ll stop what is doing and listen to your concerns. The Nurses are great to work with. Besides their Nursing duties, I’ve seen them buy food, sodas for residents who are less fortunate. These Nurse really care!! The housekeepers and dietary employees also are caring and go beyond their duties. This is not the Eastbrook of years past. This facility is moving in a great direction where patients healthcare is the number one priority. Unfortunately, my mother has past on, but I wouldn’t hesitate to have her as a resident at Eastbrook. The guys working Security are proactive and helpful by escorting employees to their cars. Again, this facility has been given a bad reputation in years past, but we’re making it a better place for employees and the residents. PS, the Vice President and the Director of Operations are great to work under. Both are Nurses with extensive experience and always willing to teach and they have the residents best interests at heart. This is my honest opinion and I’m happy and proud to be an employee at Eastbrook Healthcare Center.
I've worked in social services at Eastbrook for almost two years now. In my time at the facility, I've seen great improvement both clinically and esthetically. Upper management treats the staff with respect and offers a work life balance. I truly enjoy working with this team and being a part of a team that offers residents quality care with compassion and a resident centered focus.
