My mom has been a resident at East Village Place for 7 months. The plan for her elder years and her preference, was to remain in her home with in-home care. Her needs progressed to the point where we needed to seek residential care to assure her safety. Moving her from her home to residential care was not easy. However, she made the transition surprisingly well, as did our family. We found the right place for her. East Village Place is a lovely, well cared for residence that offers two levels of memory care. It is well staffed by the most dedicated, attentive caring staff possible. In addition to the exceptional personal care that she receives, the meals are well prepared, offering a nice variety of options, and the social aspect and activities are amazing. The medical staff knows each resident well, and is always attentive to their well-being. There is a strong culture of dignity and respect for all associated with East Village Place; residents, their families, staff members. Most importantly, my mom is safe and very happy. Our family has peace of mind knowing that she is in the most caring, capable hands. The staff has a wonderful connection with my mom and all of the residents. Joan is just one of the staff that go above and beyond in their work, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

When we needed to get my mother into assisted living , we are very happy we chose East Village Place. The facility is extremely clean, and well maintained, but it’s the staff that shines. From the top down, the staff is professional and competent, but it’s their genuine caring and compassionate nature that set them apart. They treated my mother like family, and I recommend them all the way!
I can say many great things about this facility starting with their staff. I work closely with the staff of East village place from administrator to CNA’s and I have noticed the excellent care they give to the residents and family members. They are passionate, nurturing, as well as kind. All staff go out of their way to provide a warm welcoming and their hospitality and care is above and beyond! There are truly so many great things to say about this facility!
My Mother in law and brother in law are both residents of East Village Place. We couldn’t be happier with the facility and the staff. Once you become part of the East Village Community you truly are considered family. We were very nervous putting them into a memory care facility but the staff was so kind, caring and warm it put our minds at ease that we were doing the right thing for them. They have both been there for more than a year and are thriving. My mother in law has friends and loves to attend all the activities they provide. Powerback Rehab to You enjoys working with the residents and staff to assist in Aging in Place at East Village Place. The staff are very attentive to their residents and make sure they are receiving the care that they need. Great communication by nursing and collaborative care for their residents makes this facility a great place to live and work!
