14703 Eagle Vista Dr, Houston, TX 77077, United States
My mom has lived at Eagles Trace for around 18 years and this past year transferred to Bayou Vista. The transition was so smooth. From the moment she arrived, the staff has been nothing short of amazing. They’ve been incredibly attentive, compassionate, and dedicated to ensuring my mom is well taken care of. Which brings me such peace of mind—its is so reassuring to know that she’s in good hands at all times. The building itself is immaculate, always clean, and beautifully maintained. The spaces are bright and welcoming, which really adds to the overall comfort of the community. The food is delicious, 3 hot meals a day prepared by a fabulous chef!!! The menu is always different with a wide variety of items to choose from. Who could ask for anything more. My mom has also really enjoyed the variety of activities available, especially the games and social events tailored to the elderly. It's been wonderful seeing her get involved. Overall, Eagles Trace and Bayou Vista has been an incredible place for my mom, and I’m so grateful for the loving care and support from everyone here. Highly recommend!

What can I say about Eagle’s Trace? There is a great deal to be said. I started working at this community 5 years ago. It started out as just a summer job driving the shuttle bus on campus. By the end of the summer, I was hooked and decided to quit my job at the school and stay here full time. What I fell in love with was the friendliness of residents and staff. I love how people greet each other when you pass them in the hall. It just gives the place a feeling of family and community. Speaking of family, my son and daughter have worked here as well. With great opportunities to advance, it was a great first time job for them.
My mother moved to Eagle's Trace in 2014 after my father passed away. She made many friends in independent living, went on outings (Houston Rodeo) and generally enjoyed herself. In 2021, we moved her to Assisted Living, and then in 2023, we moved her into Memory Care. She has also spent time in the Skilled Nursing Facility after a fall and broken hip. Eagle's Trace has it all. I live far away, so it has been comforting to know that the staff is dedicated. They responded as a team through Hurricane Harvey, COVID, winter power outages, and most recently, freak winter storms. Now, in 2025, my mother is happier than she has been since my father passed away. My brother and I visit, but the professionals at Eagle's Trace do most of the work.
OUR MOVE TO EAGLE'S TRACE = FEBRUARY 2016 Rebecca & Garland Walker moved to Eagle's Trace from Sugar Land, TX in February 2016. After 8 years & 10 months we would like to express our feelings concerning our move. 1. People have asked: Do you like living at Eagle's Trace? Our Response is: No We LOVE living at Eagle's Trace. 2. Others have asked: Did you look at other Retirement communities before moving to Eagle's Trace? Our Response is: YES but We wanted Eagle's Trace to move to Sugar Land & each time the answer was NO. Therefore our option was " MOVE TO EAGLE'S TRACE IN WEST HOUSTON" or continue working in our yard along with the cost of insurance and maintenance of our home. 3. During our time at Eagle's Trace we have added many New Friends to our lives and have been active in different committees. With over 100 programs led by residents, a person can stay as active as they choose. 4. Our move to Eagle's Trace has been the Perfect adjustment to our lives and one we are enjoying very much. Rebecca & Garland Walker
Before moving to Eagle's Trace, I lived alone. My daughters told me I need to be more social in a secure environment. In the year that I've been at ET, I've made friends and have been able to do some pretty fun and educational things - all within the community. During the storm in July, the staff was very attentive and although it was a hard time for everyone they managed to make us feel safe, cared for and supported. Why did I wait so long to move here?? But now I am comforted knowing it's my home for life.
