I’ve been so impressed with the team at Durango Health and Rehab. The building is a little older but they have kept it up very well! It’s clean with spacious rooms, but I think the best thing about it is the staff there. They have some team members that have been there for more than 20 years!

I stayed in Durango for 2 weeks and 2 days. Each day I visited my sister Diane Kalaf at Durango Health and Rehabilitation.As she regained function of her fractured femur, I watched the physical therapist team and occupational therapy team surround her with patience, knowledge and determination. The nursing staff was also caring and on top of her needs. One nurse stood out as professional and totally engaged in the welfare of all his patients. We need more nurses like Samuel. My family will always be grateful for the hours he spent making sure her medications, vitals, and pain tolerance were always accurate and recorded. Thank you from Diane's family to all of you from housekeeping to social services.Amen.
My family could not be more pleased with the care my mother has gotten at the facility since her fall. The entire staff is upbeat, positive, caring, and committed to their work. This includes everyone from the housekeeping staff up through the administration. While it was hard to have our mom away from us, we never worried about the care she was receiving. They even looked after my dad, who spent all day everyday with her. They showered him with care and support as well. Thank you to all who make the Durango Rehabilitation Center a wonderful place to get the care you need when in that circumstance. I wish I could name everyone individually, but this review would be even longer than it already is. God bless you all for the work you do. You’re all angels!
DHR provides the best care in all areas. Their therapists are extremely knowledgeable, professional, encouraging, caring and patient people. They do everything possible to help you achieve your recovery goals. The nurses and CNA's take care of all of your health needs immediately as well being very kind and caring. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and so efficient in keeping your room neat, sanitary and orderly on a daily basis. The kitchen does everything possible to meet your special dietary needs. The administrative staff and the rest of the team display the same interest in their patients as the rest of the team. They do everything possible to make your stay at DHR pleasant and healing.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. They truly care about the people that come in and treat them as if they were their own. Love that it also has a homey feel being in a neighborhood. Highly recommend Durango Care and Rehab. Great team there!
