The nurses who came to assess my mom were downright rude and unfriendly. We could tell as soon as they arrived they had already decided my parents would not allow them to live in the facility. The excuse they came up with to refuse my parents admission was ridiculous and didn't even make sense. While it is their prerogative to choose who they admit - they didn't need to be rude about it. Also, they didn't even have the courtesy to tell my parents over the phone that they were declined. We had to find out from a third party. Not a good way to run a business. These other negative reviews make a lot of sense to me.

During difficult times due to Covid, the measures implemented has kept Mother healthy in Memory-haven. Each time we speak to her on the phone, via Facetime or through her window with masks, she says how thankful she is for the staff's care. It's a team effort with staff & family to remind her why we still can't have in-person visits.
This is probably the worst place for elderly in Sedgwick county. The management doesn’t care at all about their customers and will find any excuse to get rid of them or avoid them. It’s truly a pathetic place for a senior center. Please, if you have any respect for your parent or grandparent, do not let them live here, it is a truly horrible place.
I would have to agree with another review that said this place does not at all care about their residents. For what you pay for your loved one to live here you would expect EXCEPTIONAL care for them but that is not at all what you get here. Do your research and go elsewhere.
