Many thanks again to all the nursing staff on the 3rd floor. You did your job very well. You were very helpful, loving and very friendly with my wife. She felt very comfortable in short-term care with you. I can recommend this retirement home with a clear conscience.

I've been at the Domicil retirement home for a year. I like the facility, which has a lovely outdoor area where you can take walks. I like the size of the room and the fact that I could bring my own furniture. I also enjoy the range of activities, the various sports, the parties, and the group singing. The nursing care is also good, as are the different nationalities; you get to know their different customs; everyone is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen also strives to offer a variety of dishes to ensure the food is delicious. I also appreciated the opportunity to accompany my husband as he died. I can happily recommend the Domicil retirement home.
We were very satisfied overall. There was always someone available to talk to. The house is beautifully furnished and very clean. I would be happy to have my mother there for short-term care again, and even permanently if necessary.
Today I really have to write, I'm so angry. My mother had her 90th birthday today. I first asked the nursing staff if I could get a room for our family that day. The answer was no problem. Next time I'll go back to the administration to be on the safe side. They assured me that we would get a room after consulting with the kitchen and that coffee and dishes would be provided. They call me again. This works no problem. Since today is a Saturday, I thought I'd call again yesterday to ask if the room was open since no one is there on Saturdays. When asked in the kitchen the chef had no idea about anything. I was promised a call back after they wanted to contact the chef. Nothing happened. So I called again, still no information. Then yesterday afternoon I got a call back and was assured that the room was open, dishes were ready for 12 people and 6 pots of coffee. We brought our own cake. We arrived today at 2:30 p.m. and apart from the room being open, nothing happened. No dishes, no coffee. I really don't have the words for so much amateurism. We are then at station 0 back and forth to at least get plates for our cake. The employee tried very hard and couldn't help it. She tried to call the kitchen several times but no one was there. I will inform the home management on Monday. The main thing is that we pay an incredible 3,000.00 every month. If they had at least told me that it wouldn't work, we would have brought the coffee and dishes ourselves. A bottomless impudence
This is not a nursing home, but a company that is out for profit! But the following should also apply here: the employees are the capital. Especially the so-called dirty work that no one wants to do anymore should be given special appreciation. Imagine that no one cleans your toilets anymore, no one changes the diapers of incontinent people anymore...then you can close your house. Live and let live. You pay a lot of money and wonder how it will be distributed. I got my mother out of there after a week's stay. I don't blame the staff, although it was very difficult to communicate with them in German. I'm already afraid that I'll end up in need of care myself...
