Good morning. I have the pleasure of having Park place rehabilitation center in my Mom's life after a stroke. She is progressing due to the great professionalism from each department at the hospital. Each individual is delightful and to business. All hands are Blessed. Can't wait to see all facility members when my Mom leaves for home.

I was in a really bad accident in February 2024. After having several surgeries at UAB, I was transferred to Park Place Rehabilitation to continue my care. Mind you, I was not able to walk at all! The physical therapists there were really awesome. As a matter of fact, the whole staff from the office all the way to the nurses and housekeeping staff was fantastic. I really recommend Park Place. You have to want to get better. They can't do it all by themselves but they will try!
As a Physical Therapist, I am responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients upon admission from the hospital or home. Our therapy staff collaborates closely with Nursing to deliver exceptional care to the best of our abilities, and we acknowledge that occasionally our care may not meet expectations, for which we apologize. However, despite our best efforts to ensure each patient's stay is worthwhile, there are instances where some individuals cannot be satisfied. Having worked in numerous facilities throughout Alabama, I can confidently attest that this facility is one of the best places to work, as we take our job seriously and can assure every patient that they will receive high-quality care.
Every time I've needed rehab over the years, Park Place has been the only option I've given the hospital. From the front office, nursing, and therapy, the staff are so nice and attentive. If I ever need rehab again or a longer stay in the future, I know exactly where I'm going - Park Place!!
My father was there for 3 weeks and it didn't take us long to realize these people have no business working in this field. I won't go into detail, but the care was horrible and bordered on elder abuse. If you truly love your loved one you will find another place for them. I wouldn't board my dog there.
