Esperstraße 25A, 91080 Uttenreuth, Germany
I applied for a mini-job here and was rejected because of my headscarf, even though I am a religious woman and faith is an important aspect of a diakonia. I was asked on the phone whether I would be willing to take off my headscarf. When I said no, they didn't get back to me. When I asked, I got a rude answer from management. It's a shame that motivated staff are rejected based on appearances at a time when there is a shortage of nursing care.
