A beautiful website is advertised here: Diakoneo, because we love life. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different for my father different. This has nothing at all to do with a dignified life on ward 4, but unfortunately for my father it meant: dying in installments! My father died after 5 months, partly due to incorrect medication, which we only found out about when we asked. A ward management that was completely overwhelmed and far too few specialist staff brought immense suffering to my family and my father. I can only advise against this nursing home! Zero stars would be appropriate!
I am a resident and have no connection to this retirement home. So I can't say anything about general care, but the following shocks me: A resident fell and lay crying in the garden for more than 15 minutes. During this time the telephone was unmanned! When we arrived, 6 employees of this facility were sitting outside having breakfast and they didn't seem to be interested in crying and screaming for help. I just think it's a shame that it took so long to help the woman who fell.
My father endured the unspeakably bad treatment for 5 months and then died there... I can only advise against putting loved ones there... It's simply inhumane how people with dementia are treated there!!
Super friendly staff on all wards and very respectful treatment, especially with dementia patients.
