We love our new home build. We selected the Taft layout with a sunroom and lanai. The neighbors are very friendly and the amenities are well maintained. Our builder, Dylan Blackmon was the best. He kept us informed of the build process the whole way. Amy, our sales agent was also very professional and just a great person to work with. I have already joined the golf group here and we would like to get involved with other activities here as well.

As a former homeowner I cannot advise any wise and rational person to be captivated into building a house here. They cheated me from the very first day I made the regretable mistake into opening their door. The house I built there was a just 'new junk house' with many, many building errors. For the sake go my peace, I cannot enumerate all the unacceptable errors made.Thank God I was able to sale my house there and leave that place of once for all!
Please be aware that since Pulte purchased the Dell Webb brand, they are not building in their 55+ communities with the same ADA requirements that were incorporated under the original Del Webb. For example, in this community, all interior single doors are not ADA compliant (i.e. 36" casing opening), we did not realize that the furnace was in the attic, which for our model, is accessible from the master bedroom closet via a pull down attic stair. If our sales rep had at least mentioned this and indicated we would have easier access had we gone with a loft option, we would have spent that money to do so. Ours is also the only home next to a basement lot that did not receive a retaining wall, as the site manager indicated that this was no longer the practice, however, homes built after ours, in a similar situation, do have the additional retaining wall to protect the resident from falling down a steep slope, which also cannot be properly mowed. The way the property was grated between most homes, results in mucky messes when it rains, without the ability to grow grace. Instead of fixing it, the builder, through the HOA, indicated the property owner could fix at their expense, but trying to get the ARC HOA committee to approve is a joke! I've had 4 homes built, this is by far the worst build.
