final destination
Although I assume that everyone who works in healthcare wants to do their job well, and from the heart I find it very sad that people often have to wait a very long time before someone comes to help them. From 1.5 to even 3 hours. Even during coffee breaks and team meetings, no one comes by when you press the alarm button. Why not have a coffee break for half the staff and the other half can follow people around the department. And why not apply this during a team meeting so that someone comes to the people who press the alarm button. Please care staff do this!!!!!! Change this!!!It is no longer necessary for my mother, she is no longer there, but for the people who are still there. If I have to wait 1.5 hours I also pee in my pants. Furthermore, I am satisfied with the nurse specialist, the doctor and the social worker.
Our mother lived happily in Crimpenersteyn in the Kiezelsteen department for almost 1.5 years. We as a family have experienced so much warmth and interest. The last week before she passed away on June 4 felt like a warm bath. We would like to thank everyone from the physio, cleaning staff, restaurant staff and of course the loving nursing staff.
An unpleasant atmosphere upon entering. You should expect some decoration, especially at Christmas. As an excuse, it is said that the fire brigade is not allowed to have a Christmas tree/Christmas decorations. This surprises us as there are Christmas trees in decline at every public occasion. Especially in these long corona times, where the residents are spending their last years here, a bit of fun would be very appropriate. It is certainly not an invitation for residents to leave their rooms to sit with family downstairs in a cold reception hall where there is no Christmas atmosphere at all.
Unfortunately, I have to regret that the family was not listened to at all, despite having a say in the mother's treatment (official mentorship from the judge), they clearly could not deal with it, everyone just did whatever, no communication. Always indicated in conversations, nodding yes and apologizing and then just moving on. Deeply sad how they deal with corona, no empathy at all, a lot of sadness and very strange protocols, which later turned out not to be true through personal research. Had conversations after death, admitted everything and will try differently from now on...I wonder. Very unfortunate!
