My father in law was here. They were unresponsive when called. He needed help going to the bathroom and often times ended up having accidents because no one would come. The bathrooms are dirty and the staff is unkind.

This was the second time my mother has been in here. First time around 2 years ago it was bad but not as bad and horrific as it was this time! Under staffed and disrespectful workers. They take their time and help patients when needed. The patients are supposed to be showered twice a week and if you don't remind the aids they won't bother. I feel bad for then patients that have no one to check up on them because they really are screwed!! I would take my mother to the bathroom, change her and put her to bed every night because they never came back to help!! I even had to pay an aid outside to cone in the mornings and make sure my mother was taken care of. That's ridiculous!!!! So much money to stay there and horrible horrible facility!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!
I am in utter disbelief at the lack of care, respect, and decency this facility provides. It’s heart wrenching to see how patients are left to sleep in an uncomfortable wheelchair, left to sleep with soiled garments. When a patient calls for the nurse, it is likely that the patient must wait for an extensive amount of time before having assistance. The bathrooms are rarely cleaned, and the rooms are left with filth. Unfit staff. It’s astonishing that this facility is still in service. There needs to be great alterations to this facility for it to even be considered bearable. Absolutely disgusting and unfair environment.Never ever bring your loved ones to a place like this !!!!
My mother in law has been a resident in the long term memory wing for about 9 months now. She is well cared for by the nursing staff and aides and seems to be happy when we visit her each week. The director of her dementia floor, as well as the social worker, have both made themselves available to our family if and when we have had questions and concerns.
They need more staff - mainly aides. My mother had to wait for HOURS for an aide to take her over to the bathroom -- this happened CONTINUOUSLY. No one bothers to answer the "help" buzzer or take notice of the "help" light. You should be aware that your nurses refuse to do anything other than dispense meds and take vitals. This a HUGE problem. They also need people available in the dining room to wheel patients back to their rooms after meals. My mother had to wait more than 45 minutes and this happened many times. Could never get an answer when a doctor would be visiting my mother. Very sad.
