Cypress Grove has been a facility that I’ve spent most of my life around. I have had multiple relatives go through Cypress who received exceptional care! When my nana was actively passing, the staff were so attentive. They checked in with us, assisted in anyway we needed, and supported us even after she had passed. When my grandma was there, she was the talk of the halls. All of the staff talked highly of her and were always supportive and caring. Last, the social workers in the building are top notch. They advocate fiercely for their patients and are quick to have services put in place to support their patients. The Veterans are also a priority within the facility. It is so important that we care for and protect the men and women who fought for us. Cypress Grove does a phenomenal job of doing just that. Shout out to Wendy and Mary Ann for being such a staple to Cypress Grove. I 100% recommend Cypress!

I was discharged from the hospital for short term care after surgery to this facility last month. When arrived to the facility a nurse ignored me as I sat right in front of her in a wheelchair. It wasn’t her job to admit anyone but at least she could have alerted the appropriate staff of my arrival. Unfortunately this facility was not staffed to handle my admission as I was in a full leg cast & unable to lift myself from my wheelchair without assistance (my needs were communicated to the facility prior to my arrival). The 2 staff members were unable to lift me out of the wheelchair - I weigh 220lbs. They offered no other alternative to assist me onto the bed so I told them I wanted to leave. I was later told that the facility did have a lift but it wasn’t offered to me at any time. This facility called 911 to take me back to the hospital. The paramedics that showed up were very irate that 911 was called for a transport. Someone at the facility told them I called - which I did not. The pictures that I uploaded here I took as I sat & waited. It was dark & dirty. There was equipment stored in the room making it very cramped. It was dark & dirty with stained walls & garbage on the floor. There was no central air conditioning only window units. The thing that bothered me the most was how uncaring & unfriendly the staff of this was to me. The woman who was to be my roommate told me to go anywhere else but this facility & that she was there only because dialysis was next door. I hope this facility improves in the future.
My father used the facility for one week for some short term rehab care. The staff were very attentive and helpful. My father was pleased with the care. The final invoice was reasonable as well. We would recommend this facility for care. Other residents we noticed seemed happy as well.
I would give negative stars if possible. This is our first experience with this type of rehab center and it has been nothing but horrible. Current family member is treated horribly, laying in soiled clothes and bed because of one answers the call light to help her to the bathroom. I witnessed this myself while there. Call button pushed waited over 10 minutes before looking out her door to see 3 staff at the nurses station (one leaning against the wall, another sitting on the desk). For reference we were told that staff needed to assist her, that we weren't supposed to help her anymore. We followed the rule. I walked down and asked why her call light wasn't being answered. Then was treated like I was a problem interrupting their social time. Full disclosure, I got bit snippy. Personal items have gone missing, clothes disappearing but no one knows where they have gone. The rehab is ridiculous. The previous center (which couldn't take her this time) did intense therapy and had her back where she needed to be to come back home. It's been 3 weeks and no improvement. Will be working on transferring her. If you love your family please do not let this place be a possible consideration. -10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
Cypress Grove has an amazing staff that cares deeply about their residents. They have a lot of events and things and we just went to their Easter egg hunt. It’s clean, well staffed, and in a great location.
