Cumberland Trace has been taking care of my Dad since 2022. The care is fantastic. Apartments are nice and the cafeteria is great but what really stands out is the staff. The nurses always make sure that Dad is taken care of and is taking his meds. They do his laundry, help to keep his apartment clean and bring him meals when he doesn’t feel like going to the cafeteria. Staff will respond to me by call or text when I would like them to check on him when he doesn’t answer my calls. Cumberland Trace also has an in house rehab center, so when Dad does need extra care he doesn’t have to go to another facility. If you have family member that needs assisted living please check out Cumberland Trace, you won’t regret it.

Scathing and emotional review alert: A big no for rehabilitation. Quality and frequency of care is NOT good. Short staffed. I can’t wait to get my mother out of here and if I could carry her I’d take her out right this second. No no no to this place. Nooooo! Going on a month and we have no answers, tests and no results, no forwarded records. Pretty sure by the smell off the room she’s got a uti infection. Does she have gout in those swollen knees? Any response back on her uric acid that you tested a week ago? (Update, we’ve been told twice they’ve drawn blood to check uric acid which would help us understand her swollen joints, but the head nurse in charge doesn’t see anything in the file. Shocking. Meanwhile my mom is still in pain and has been for 10 days and we finally had to say yes to narcotics which could delay and progress and cause further decline so thanks for looking out for her!) you should be totally ashamed though I bet you won’t even remember her name. You don’t care too much to feed her either. Sometimes we don’t even get meal. If we weren’t feeding her she’d already be on a tube which is great for you all, but not for her. I could go on and on. Your feedback should be interesting because we all know your communication is worse than the hospitals you talk badly about. Overall, if you can’t be there 25/7 to look out for your loved ones in rehab, do not choose this facility please. PS: three separate times now we’ve heard that care is sub par and lack of communication doesn’t surprise them. Not good when it’s coming from your own staff!
Our sweet momma has been in assisted living there for 7+ years. We ❤️ the dedicated care given to her and the support of dedicated employees including Hardeep, Donnie, Cinda. and Heather. The administrator Trei is amazing
I used to work here and always thought highly of the community. I've sent 2 family members here for rehab after surgeries and I couldn't happier with the care they received. Granted everyplace has something wrong, but this place cares and it shows in the staff. Stephen is amazing and any issues that comes up he takes care of immediately. There's no place like home, but this place is a highly recommended 2nd choice. Thanks Cumberland Trace!
My mother has been a resident at Cumberland Trace for about 7 years. We were impressed with the facility at our first visit. The assisted living units are well laid out. Each contains a kitchenette, living area and separate bedroom. An added benefit is a washer/dryer within each unit. Warm, delicious meals are served three times a day in a cafe / bistro setting with attentive staff who take time to know and interact with residents. There are many social activities available to the residents. There are movies, outings, crafts, and worship services to name a few. The most impressive and important feature of Cumberland Trace is the staff. They are professional, attentive to resident’s needs and they keep family caregivers informed about any issues or problems. The team is very responsive to our questions, issues and concerns. This is important to us since we live in Texas and can’t personally monitor Mom’s care. Our request for information and / or help are always handled promptly (often with a call back confirmation). We highly recommend CT if you are looking for a place for yourself or a loved one.
