This is very nice Community. I highly recommend it. We are 3rd Generation here. Been visiting family here since 1996. What i really love about this place is, our Association members does fantastic job taking care of our needs in this Community. I am absolutely impressed by many volunteers also. Thanks for their sacrifice of love and care for the Community needs.. We also had racoon problems, to having to call maintenance to fix something in my house. They do fantastic job. For our neighbors who cannot drive, they have volunteer program that assists them for doctors appointment and such.. This Community have bus system to different shopping areas.. help those who do not have transportation. I must say, it was divine intervention having this kind of Community that really cares..
I would go with my grandparents to visit their friends when I was a teenager and even when I was home on leave from the Navy. I always enjoyed spending time in the community. We are looking forward to moving to Crestwood One shortly. Update We moved in May of 2020. So far, so good. Love our home. Association office does it’s best along with maintenance dept considering everything is going on with COVID and having the office and clubhouse closed.
I purchased this place before I realized how non responsive a Co-Op board actually is. Luckily my bathrooms and kitchen were remodeled, but with NO permits ever pulled (with the total knowledge of Crestwood) so when I go to sell it, if it is caught, I'll have to pay for the permits then sue the former stakeholder. Just a reminder, permits are needed when plumbing and electrical are moved, Fun! Then we have the former lack of response from Maintenance - a leaky roof I was complaining about for over six months which has caused mildew and mold; an infestation of cave crickets that are in the crawlspace (a crawlspace that the Co-Op claims is their responsibility), 937 of them dead in the first year I lived here; and I could go on, but won't. Am I happy here? Overall, I like my neighbor, I can work out of my home office (although no one here seems to understand that I can't be interrupted, nor can electric be shut off, etc). I like my unit, it is laid out perfectly. I love my two new bathrooms and kitchen counters, but the Co-Op needs to acknowledge that it is now 2020 and they have to get into this century, not the last.
