My parents lived in Crestwood Village for over 25 years. Does it have a pool- no but it has beautiful homes, well maintained property, a beautiful club house and most of all people that care about their community.. It's a country atmosphere with pine tree lined streets, cul-de-sacs, and finger streets on the outskirts of Brendan Byrne Forest.If you like hiking the forest has trails and several ponds for the adventurous. For those that prefer more structured activities there are dances, movie afternoons, BIngo , yoga, a small gym, bocce, and a billards room. The clubhouse can be rented out for private parties or small wedding if you met the person of your dreams! It's truly an impressive club house. The staff at Crestwood is extremely helpful and warm. The ladies in the office will go an extra yard to answer your questions or concerns. The general maintenance staff will handle small repairs at your home, sink leaks, power washing, install updated smoke & CO alarms, thermostats, etc. There is a reasonable fee for the work but it's much lower than if you hired an outside contractor. For larger jobs they refer to Stanley Contractors- licensed electricians, etc. I have personally lived with my parents when needed so know the neighborhood well. I handled all business and finance matters, and personally worked with the office staff. I cared for my parents since 2018 , assisting in daily chores and medical issues. Since their passing this year I have been working on a sale of their home. The maintenance staff has been extremely helpful. Had a wonderful time at the Halloween dance! Great people wonderful music 🎶 snacks and drinks, run very well 😊 will definitely be going to the new Year's dance. Thank you for a great evening
We have been here for about 7 months and really love it here. We have more privacy than we had in our other town. People on our block are wonderful and everyone is friendly. Everyone waves an is respectful. HOA is fine, and pretty much what you expect. Clubhouse just opened, so really cannot comment on it. Very clean and spacious.
I love the surroundings, the neighbors, meeting new people, the peacefulness, the beautiful sites, the many strip malls and especially my new home. Today I had the best time meeting my HOA representatives to help me finish walking through the village with the correct rules of Village6. They were very informative. I am going to like it here, I fact, I know I will. We all has been through a trying time during the COVID19 we must keep the faith and have patience.
come on new comers. I have been here in village 6 for 6 years. the board does what it wants to do, raise hoa fees & cut amenities & we have no pool. come to the board meetings and see what is going on. you have no freedom. everything has to be approved by the board
