I wouldn't recommend this establishment for your loved one's care. My relative has experienced clothing theft, his memory issues are overlooked, and the staff allows him to care for himself without supervision. In addition to the fecal buildup in his buttocks during a recent visit, despite his clothes not being wet, he smelled of urine, he required a thorough bath due to hygiene concerns. Personal care was neglected, taking over 25 minutes to clean him at home. Additionally, new clothing I purchase for him often goes missing. Upon laundering the attire he was wearing, I discovered an alternate name inscribed on the clothing, this highlights a lapse in management and attention to detail.

My father was a resident at cresthaven & at first I was pleased with this place until I caught a glimpse of what it truly is. My father was improperly cared for & as a result he had to have most of his foot amputated. They hardly called me when he was sent to the hospital which was a handful of times, nurses were rude & asleep on the job. To top all of that, he was in and out of the hospital so much he was admitted to a rehab til he got better, I made rent payments every month to ensure my father had a place to go back to which I verbalized to them MANY MANY times. They wanted him to move out & again I told them I needed him to have a home to return to atleast until I could get him somewhere better. It wasn’t until the rehab was discharging him that they notified me that he’d have to be evaluated to see if his level of care was too much for them which apparently it was (hard to believe as they don’t care for any of their residents)… they took that rent money for months not once explaining that they would have to evaluate him so all that money that could’ve been spent on getting him in a new place or making his life the least bit more comfortable and better was wrongfully taken. If you love and care about your family DO NOT SEND THEM HERE.
Miss I don't want you to call the. Police please tell my dad that the AC is ok with water on it that's all sorry I will not bother you
Updated: Cresthaven Adult Living Facility (ALF) is just fine. The top manager has installed a very good slate of experienced employees. He lets them do their own work and does not micromanage. More people should lead this way. In my 6th year of residency the department heads are just fine. There is a better atmosphere and they have accomplished more this year than previous time periods. If your impression is a negative one, look inside yourself and imagine how difficult it is to run a "small city." Give them a chance. The DON is fantastic and has the personality and accomplishments needed to hold that office. A new Chef will be joining the team and improvements are expected. Maintenance -great! Front Desk - taking good care of residents, communications from inside and outside of Cresthaven. What a heavy load with a competent Front Desk Manager. Admissions has the right persons with the right attitudes and personalities for processing prospective residents and helping in house, too. Updated evaluations will be posted here.
My mother spent 10 years at Cresthaven East Senior Living and it may have been the 10 best years of her life. She entered at a young 75 with Dementia that progressively worsened over time. She had her meds regulated along with alcohol and she loved it. She went on every outing, every dinner, participated in every card game, movie night and utilized the hair dresser. We could not have been happier with how she was treated and how well she loved the place. She was not an easy person but it was the perfect place for her. She was treated with dignity and respect and felt like she belonged, not like a patient. Thank you.
