Under staffed way over priced very little care very little bathing clothing mixed up amongst residents even though my mothers name was written in all of her clothing most of the staff is just there to be there they do the very minimum , several incidents with black eyes stitches in her head broken nose bruises on her body excuse always was she fell down or she fell out of bed (don’t believe abuse from staff just lack of care) 🤷🏻♂️ no sheets on the bed at times animal control takes better care of the animals food they serve is cheap garbage (usually cold) my dog probably wouldn’t eat it ! If the residents are unable to feed themselves they usually won’t get much to eat hard for 2 staff members to feed 20 residents corporate owned all they care about is the money. My dear friend is in assisted living at Cranberry Park and I visit her weekly, I cannot say enough nice things about this facility. The caring and attentive staff, the beautiful facility, fire place, courtyard and private rooms are like a 5 star hotel. There are a variety of activities going on like arts & crafts, exercising, games, music and even a car show! But best of all is the love and respect I see my dear friend treated with. The staff are happy caring, fun people and I Am so thankful that my friend is receiving such top notch care! There is even a hair salon and a bird sanctuary! We took her out to an event and the staff was so helpful in having her ready when we came to pick her up. This facility and its administrator is such a blessing!
I have read some of the bad reviews so I had to share about the experience with Cranberry and my mom. My mom was there for almost 2 years. The staff was very caring to my mom where she eventually called it her "home". They were very quick to help her with all of her needs plus providing her with much needed friendship. When she was at the hospital and was put on hospice, the hospital would no longer keep her there and we had to move her. I called the manager of Cranberry in Clio and she said to bring her "home" that they wanted her back in her room at Cranberry. They made all of the arrangements to get her there within hours where she finally passed a couple of days later. The staff and manager was absolutely awesome and caring. My mom was so happy there.
My 97 y.o. mother was at Cranberry Park Transitional Living in Clio for close to a month before passing. The facility is very nice with each resident having their own room with space for their own bed/sofa/chair and they each have their own bathroom. More importantly, the staff was truly amazing. It was very apparent that they truly care for the residents. Staff members were always patient and kind and treated the residents with respect. When my mom was nearing the end, several staff members told me "I come in and sit with her at night when I can so she isn't alone." That was very comforting for us. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility to others who are struggling with no longer being able to care for an elderly parent at home.
What a great team. Cranberry Park is a family atmosphere. Congrats on this years Customer Service Award from the Chamber of Commerce! All the positive changes there definitely show! You all have so much fun!
