This facility’s common areas are very dirty, out dated, and unkept. The elevator is always broken. And the food is not healthy at all. And the care???? You MUST check up behind them and stay on them to ensure things are done and done right! We had to install cameras in my mother’s apartment to keep watch! The apartments are actually decent inside, but it’s everything else that is raggedy! They will sell it to you tho like it’s a nice place but the staff are very unorganized, over worked and can be rude! And the Director Deb?!? Not professional in her demeanor at all! Even the EMT that came to see about my mother after falling said “I would never allow my family to stay here! It’s unsafe and they don’t care!” I removed my mother as fast as I could but she died that same week smh… Please don’t take you loved ones here! My mother died EARLIER THAN Drs expected because of this place and lack of quality care!

I recently had to move my mother from Florida to Coventry Place. This was an emotional time for our family, but the staff at Coventry made the transition seamless and are so caring and responsive to my mother. Mom loves the art activities, says the meals are good and she adores her caregivers, Rebecca and Jackie!
The staff at Coventry Place was exceptionally helpful when it came time to helping out our family member’s specific needs. I’m thankful for their patience and knowledge when it came to addressing all of our questions.
This place is absolutely horrible and if zero stars was an option that is what it would get. The place is dirty, there are roaches and don't look in the vents because they are filthy. They will sell you on the fact that you can make any modifications or upgrades you want in the apartment and that is because they aren't. If you complain about anything the response is "well it's old". There is no management on the weekend or security. The management team will become argumentative if you question them too much. If you can afford to go ANYWHERE else please do and if this is your last resort.... I'm sorry.
Approximately one week ago I came to visit my loved one at Coventry Place. During my visit, my aunt said that she was not feeling well. At approximately 11:00 am I found medications in a cup that had been left in her room by a care giver. This is not the first time that this has happened. In fact there have been times when her medications have been given very late. I am a registered nurse and I know that medications should never be left with a patient because it is very unsafe as well as against the law. I later searched for a manager and was told by an older women ( Wilma) at the front desk, who is always rude and nasty, that the director was cleaning rooms because they had no house keepers, which explains why my aunts room was dirty with and had foul odor. I am now contemplating filing a complaint with the state. Coventry Place is neglectful. It is cockroach infested. They may be a cheaper option at the expense of incompetent care. Had we known better, we would not have chosen Coventry Place.
