Our experience went above and beyond our expectations. The property is beautiful, clean and well kept. Everyone there is welcoming, going out of their way to greet you. The real difference maker to me is the happiness of the residents. I got to experience a birthday party for a resident that was so special, and a church service. The residents smiles, their interactions with each other and the staff spoke volumes of their contentment and well-being. I have toured 4 care facilities and I never felt that until I came to the Courtyard.

Elaine was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. It was obvious that she truly cares about the residents and staff. We are still in the exploratory phase of researching assisted living / memory facilities. We will for sure keep the Courtyard high on our list of places for Mom….
My brother has been here for 2 years. The staff are kind, compassionate, and caring to him. They anticipate his needs and always update me on his care. He is happy and has gratitude for them. I love that!
My mother moved in just a month after my father passed. The staff welcomed her and have cared for her so well for the past three years. She has a private room decorated in her own style but enjoys the community events almost daily. It is a wonderful, caring home.
My mom lived here just under a year. The care staff is very compassionate and friendly, but they are understaffed. The billing department was awful to work with. It took them almost 6 months to submit the simple paperwork required by our insurance. They never did apologize or admit their mistakes with our account, when I have documentation that they were in error. I believe integrity means, among other things, admitting when you mess up and figuring out why- then correcting the issues so no one else has to go through that. They don’t do this. Big red flag. Maybe it’s corporate and their hands are tied- also a red flag. There are better, well rounded homes than this- we found one. Out of 10- I say cleanliness is a 7, meals are a 7, quality of nurses and care staff a 10- but there is not enough of them.
