My wife was admitted after a hospital stay after being diagnosed with multiple issues, mainly ulcerative colitis and IBS. She also has pneumonia and an infection. When admitted she couldn't stand or walk and that continued throughout her. Communication between nursing and staff is ZERO. She kept telling her therapist I'm sick and I'm doing my best. Evidently that wasn't good enough because after just over 2 weeks the insurance cut off coverage because she's no longer improving in therapy. No one really cared about how sick she still felt. They put her in the car and sent her home. 36 hours later I find myself calling a squad and performing CPR on my own wife. Lost her 3 hours later. It just makes me ANGRY how some people can just care about the business side of things and still look at you as though they truly care about the people they are entrusted to care for and protect.

Was looking to place my mom into a skilled nursing facility. However, after a couple of minutes with the business office ovwr the phone, it will definitely be a no go! She was unnecessarily rude, condescending, made accusations with out knowing anything about my mom. Didn't seem to care about my mom's condition, but made it known that payment will be made before she comes through the door, and reiterated this numerous times. What a shame!
The Administrator at this location is uncooperative. I emailed over three times a Power of Attorney and no response to the email as to if they received. The POA was hand delivered and was still completely disregarded. They release our family member on Friday 5/2. Tuesday 5/6 the squad was called, and family member was transported back to the hospital with more seriouse issues now. The staff was great but the administrator is horrible. Stay away!
Recently my mom was admitted to Country View for rehab which turned into a long stay admission. Initially I was pleased with what I observed. However, as time went on, we witnessed poor nursing care coordination, a lack of attention to details and systemic issues with nursing resulting in a delay in testing and treatment for a UTI. My mom also developed bed sores as a result of not being turned every 2 hours and no timely delivery of an air mattress as promised by Bella. We had to fight to get her air bed, her heel protectors and her anitbiotics for UTI. Coordination of care between the nursing home and Bella Hospice was poor. We also experienced delays in getting help from Bella and several nurses were unprofessional. After meeting with staff to present our complaints an investigation was to be initiated and we were told they would get back in 2 days. We never heard from them.
What an amazing facility and home for our mother. She was diagnosed with advanced dementia and needed memory care and Country View has done an amazing job! They treat her like a family member! So companionate and caring. They truly care and want to have them live their best lives! Thank you to Carolyn and her team! Would highly recommend!
