This is a senior independent living apartments. My parents are residents there. The place has lots of activities to participate in. It is really nice units and the common areas are very nice and we'll furnished. The restaurant where the residents eat, has a nice selection to choose from. The food is well prepared and the staff knows their residents and take very good care of them. Meal tickets are available for guests at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for retirement community, this is a wonderful place filled with some really nice people.
Visited Country Meadows Village a week ago. Met with Julie Nightingale to place my mother in assisted living, Julie was friendly and gave us a tour and assured us she had no doubt of caring for my mother at a level 6 during her last days on hospice. We wrote the check were given the keys and were allowed to move mom's personal things into the room and hang pictures on the walls. Unfortunately my mother passed away the morning of the move date. Nobody bothered us with calls that day and i paid a visit to Julie the next morning and she handed us the check back in full and gave us a genuine hug and offered her condolences. I cannot tell you how wonderful and cared about that made us feel. This not expected but so much appreciated. Thank you, Julie
Attend a monthly meeting here in one of their private dining rooms. They serve some of the best clam chowder around, and the rest of the food is great as well. Nice, well kept buildings and grounds.
What a great lunch the chef at Country Meadows made for us at the re-launched senior center in Woodburn. Our grand opening was March 17, 2023 and we are now known as North Marion Adult Center. We serve lunch to seniors every Wednesday at noon. It is sponsored by various care communities in Woodburn. The first to sponsor our lunch was Country Meadows. Such big, wonderful turkey sandwiches, potato salad and home made chocolate chip cookies. It was so good! Thank you to the chef and thank you to Julie Nightengale, the Marketing Director, for arranging it for us. Country Meadows will sponsor our lunch the 3rd Wednesday of each month at noon at the Center located at 1036 E. Lincoln in Woodburn (at Immanuel Lutheran Church).
