I have lived here for exactly 1 year.for the most part this place is great to make my home at. There's community activity that all residents can have equal opportunity to be involved in . Such as: coffee social hr 1 time every week. 1time a month resident out to lunch at restaurants of choice ,crafter 1 day per week, game nights etc. And for most part this community looks for best caring amount neighborhood friendly and helpful . However, since April this place is adjusting to new property owners and new management staff, etc. And limited contact with staff. Also low response to property maintaining Ada accessible issues and property is set up with long sidewalks, high curbs, and driveways uneven cracked etc. For being a senior community it sure. Isn't mobility challenged Ada accessible. Other than that I love living here and plan to make this my forever home for the rest of my life.
Maintenace here only three days and some weeks not even that. Rent here can get increased even with a lease and it does. Very miss managed. As sidewalks for seniors are unbelievably terrible. No parking for anyone who visits and very, very limited handicap parking. Outside of cottages do not get cleaned nor do the outside of windows get washed. Drainage from rain gutters causes mud on the lawn and water runs onto sidewalks. Maintenance in summer on lawns not good. Trees growing in rain gutters on garages across from the office . Maintenance caught sleeping in vacant apartment three times but still we works here. Fountain in pond has not worked in at least three years.
I love it here. Everything is taken care of, in a timely manner. I have met some wonderful friends. It’s really nice to have the interaction with neighbors. We have a lot of social events, to keep busy, too
In general it is ok…very difficult getting to any activities…driveway is not easy with walker or wheelchair. Basically living alone …. Hard to get to garage in winter!
