Morning Star is a truly quality senior living memory loss community. It was not an easy decision to move our mother but the human touch that I have witnessed has made all the difference. I want to move here! It is beautiful; clean; great food, lots of great activities which encompass every activity level. My mom particularly enjoys the many music concerts. This is a picture of my mom and one of my sisters enjoying a concert by a lovely harpist playing such tunes as Canon in D and Danny's Boy that brought many to tears and to singing along! What Spontaneous Joy! I'm very impressed with the staff. No relationship is easy, but the staff at Morning Star truly meet people where they're at, and look out for their residents and each other. Well Done! Lots of peace of mind here as I am out of town and am only able to visit every other month or so.
Please DO NOT bring your loved ones here! Management hates people of color, especially of African American decent. Management will discriminate against people who are outside of Christianity. The blood pressure machines do not work and employees bring their own supplies. There are multiple med errors and the residents don’t get the dignity and rights that they deserve. In addition to this, there is a lot of neglect of the residents and more often residents that are of color. There's countless times that residents are assaulting other residents and it is not being documented. There is zero freedom of speech. The list goes on. Please pray for these residents.
CornerStone Senior Living is one of the best Memory Care Communities in the Treasure Valley. Carson and Cassidy are great nurses that love the residents that live at CornerStone. I would not hesitate to send my loved ones to live there.
