I felt like the amenities and care were good at this place. We also had family members and hospice personnel visiting so my mom got a lot of supervision. I think it's a trustworthy place if you visit your family member on a regular basis. It seemed to have enough staffing and good management.

Clean, good smelling facility. The nursing staff is excellent. Someone checks in on my mom every hour or so to make sure she is attending meals and events. The administrative staff are always available to answer questions or help with any needs. very happy my mom has such good care
Dad lived there four years. He liked it a lot, and I was there enough to know it was the right choice. He wanted to stay there the rest of his life, and that was exactly what happened. The employees demonstrated great care and he felt so at home.
From a friend of a resident: I have seen the staff lovingly care for my friend for years. Please thank the cleaners who had the room looking great for the birthday party, the aides who had my friend looking very put-together, Jackie and Tracy from activities who did so much to make it a great day for my friend and family, and all who took a minute to stop in to the party. All these folks give more than is "required," and it is noticed. Your great work is appreciated!
My mother spent 10 months in memory care where she lost any abilities she had upon arriving there due to lack of personal care. They make everyone sit all day, every day in place watching the same movies over and over so the staff can watch them all. Meanwhile the staff visits amongst themselves, laughing at the behaviors of the residents and they spend alot of time on their phones with personal calls and communication. The chairs in that area are soiled with urine, food and anything else. I sat down once and had to go home to change because all I could smell was urine. No one gets any exercise or assistance with even taking a walk. If the resident has good mobility; they are left to wander into other residents rooms and lay in the beds, play with items and take things that are not their's and use the private bathroom in that room. My Mom became confined to a wheel chair due to the time it takes for her to walk the hall and make it to the common area with a walker. Everything is rushed, 1 shower a week takes 5 minutes, if the resident doesn't feel up to a shower that scheduled day, they do not communicate to staff and see that she is washed or cleaned up on another day. Staff fully dresses the individuals again because they are trying to get them to the common area and not allowing the residents to be independent due to the fact they move slow. They do not keep them hydrated or stimulated with activity and conversation. The rooms are nice and spacious and there are a few good resident assistants however, with the majority of the staff it is difficult to understand their english. If the resident asks for clarification or says they didn't hear or understand, they do not try to repeat, speak slower or with more clarity, they just ignore them. Unfortunately the lack of seriousness and communication within the director, management and nurse assistants is very apparent. The people in charge seem to care more about the friendly relationships with each other than the care of the residents. The cleaners don't deep clean, several times the toilet was black in the bowl from mold and toothpaste left alll over the vanity. Other than keeping them secured in this building, they are left on their own account way too often.
