My father was in Rehab for one month at Concordia, then moved to the Personal Care where he lived the last three months of his life. I have worked in many healthcare facilities for over 30 years, and I have rarely encountered such a uniformly caring staff. The administrative and medical staff always addressed concerns and questions promptly. The aids were so patient, compassionate, kind, and caring with my father and with our family. When he was in his last days, they regularly checked in on him and us and offered solace and support. This facility was comfortable, more clean than most, and was a warm, loving environment to walk into. I would recommend this facility for both rehab and Personal.Care without reservation.,

My family and I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care my mother received during her final two years at the Personal Care Facility at Concordia of the South Hills. This facility truly goes above and beyond in every aspect of senior care. The staff provided around-the-clock aide and nursing services, ensuring my mother was always safe and well cared for. Their professionalism and kindness gave our family much-needed peace of mind. The facility also offered a variety of enriching and diverse events that kept residents engaged and socially connected. From creative activities to educational programs, there was always something meaningful to look forward to. The dining experience was equally exceptional, with a terrific menu offering three delicious and well-balanced meals each day. My mother always looked forward to mealtime, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food and the care that went into it. Physical therapy services were also readily available, which contributed significantly to her comfort and mobility. (Jeff is awesome!) I highly recommend Concordia of the South Hills to anyone looking for a personal care facility for their elderly parent. My Mom has been there for 7-8 yrs. She wouldn’t think of moving. The responsiveness by the team when she uses her emergency call button has been great and gives family members comfort—knowing this.
Very pleased with this skilled facility. Doctors and all Staff are pleasant and attentive. No offensive oder when entering which means patients are changed regularly. Made all the difference for our elderly mother. Thank you, Carol
Sure the entry way looks nice but overall a very run down personal room. Cheap bed uncomfortable mattress. the furniture and walls were all dinged up. Old unpainted surfaces. Glad my fathers stay was short. Staff didn’t visit him once while I was there. Vincentian homes- Marian Manor much better staff much more home feel and care for elderly.
