My father was a resident between October 2020, after a fall left him unable to live independently, and March 2021, when he passed. He thoroughly enjoyed interacting with staff--from those who cleaned his room and did his laundry, to those who provided his meals, his personal care, or served as administrators. To a person, he was treated compassionately. I never failed to receive timely updates on my father's condition and witnessed firsthand how he was genuinely treated as one of the Concordia family--so important to me during the very difficult times imposed by COVID-19. Each person much perform their own due diligence. However, based on the experience I had, I strongly recommend that you consider Concordia of Franklin Park for the personal care of your loved ones.

This place has a lot of positives! The nurses are kind and caring. The activities director is a gem. Maintained well and clean. BUT it is extremely, EXTREMELY under staffed and it is very concerning. Basic patient care and hygiene is many times skipped or ignored completely due to lack of staff. Residents don’t get the care they deserve or pay for.
My father was there for a short period of time and we took him out. They put him in a dirty room, his health declined quickly and the memory care looked liked a run down basement. We were totally unsatisfied.with the environment.i do have to say some of the staff were very caring and kind
Concordia is a lovely assisted living facility that provides the utmost quality care for your loved ones. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.
