For the 11 months that I have been here it has been a very positive experience, considering the condition I was in upon admission. The staff has been more than helpful to help me in my progress and invested in my wellbeing. The only reason I am leaving is to move to Florida to be closer to family. Thank you to everyone at Columbine Manor!

I worked there in Housekeeping. The Manager in Housekeeping and the other associates were very helpful , nice and great to work with. If you are serious about your work and care about the residents you should absolutely apply.
Very positive. A friend living there is receiving excellent care.
I have been visiting my good friend at Columbine Manor Care Center for years, and I am deeply concerned about the decline in the quality of care over the past six months. There is a constant turnover of staff, and it seems no one knows where to find basic hygiene supplies or oxygen supplies. The lack of organization is alarming. Moreover, I have witnessed the administrator, Macy, yelling at staff in the dining room and hallways on multiple occasions. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also creates an uncomfortable environment for both residents and visitors. On one occasion, I saw the administrator go in front of residents waiting in line at meal time, fill a plate, and start eating before any of the residents were served. This felt like a slap in the face to the residents, highlighting how little they matter to the administration. Despite my efforts to address these concerns with the administration, I have only received empty promises and excuses. The residents deserve better treatment and care. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary changes to improve the quality of life for the residents. It is becoming clear that the top priority here is not the residents, it’s money.
My 75 yo Mom had a major surgery at the beginning of this year and was sent to Columbine to recover - a very overwhelming situation for her and all of the family. I had so many questions, so many fears and didn't like being away from Mom for almost 3 months so it took me awhile to learn how to help Mom adjust to her new surroundings. No matter what I needed, when I needed it Amy G. and her team came through for us - even after Mom was discharged to go home. To this day if I have questions or concerns or just need a bit of an education on dementia or home health care, I know I can call Amy and her team. The heart, compassion, empathy and skills of ALL of the staff at Columbine are exceptional and I'm grateful I didn't have to take Mom hours away to get the care that she needed. I salute everyone that works at Columbine - the nurses, doctors, facilities team, PT team, cafeteria team, volunteers and Amy's team - thank you for being there to take care of our loved ones when we need help the most and all you do for the families.
