If I could give zero stars I would. After searching many assisted living places for my mother we decided on this one. The facility and rooms are nice and most of the staff are very friendly. That’s where the good things end. Shortly after moving in my mother’s health took a turn for the worse. She was unable to go down to the dining room for her meals because of pain so we paid extra (a lot extra) to have her meals brought to her room. There were multiple days where I would show up after work and she had gone without food because they didn’t brought her anything. They also missed giving her medication which we paid an awful lot for them to manage. It seems as though they have a hard time keeping enough stuff to properly care for the residents. The management and billing department are atrocious! We were over billed EVERY month! Constantly had to contact the billing department to try to get things straightened out. My mother was finally diagnosed with leukemia so it was clear she wasn’t going to get any better. She decided to do hospice and it was clear that they were not capable of taking care of her. We decided to move her out because of medical reasons and they would not let her end her lease for medical purposes so we had to pay another full months rent of several thousand dollars even though she wasn’t even there. Our experience there was awful. Especially after it was taken over by Prestige. All the bills we had were paid in full when we moved her out. My mother passed away 6 months ago. Tonight my sister tells me that she just got a bill in the mail for my mother for $2200 from guess who. We moved my mom out of there 7 and a half months ago, she’s been gone from this earth for six months. We haven’t received any bills from them since then until today. We wish we had never set foot in that place. What an awful experience. They sure appear to care much more about getting your money than they do about caring for their residents.

Kelsey is a fantastic med tech & person who is a dedicated employee who is always kind, considerate, willing to help when there are issues that have come up without warning. Stacey is a dedicated, very hard working employee who goes above and beyond her jobs. She works at the front desk, in the kitchen when needed, also does activities. Most caregivers are great as well.
After touring this community, one thing is evident, their staff is attentive and incredibly kind. That is what I look at when I go into Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities. How is their staff, are they friendly? If they are, then we are headed in the right direction.

When my mom moved here, it was a lot better. Staff turnover is very high, my mother doesn't recognize all the new faces let alone names. There is a revolving door for Executive Directors. Either they are hard on staff, including EDs. The grounds are well maintained. The paint is spit-spot. The food is occasionally pretty good, occasionally so bad it’s almost funny, and you go to your room to eat a PB&J. The latest problem is theft of my mom's Amazon deliveries. This shouldn't be a problem as they are delivered INSIDE at the reception desk, and I've asked for them to be signed for by a STAFF MEMBER. So, packages arrive and they sit. And I'm imagining the geriatric "porch pirates" listening for the rumble of the Amazon truck, a traffic jam of walkers, and my mother’s packages carted off. If I had the money to throw away, I'd regularly order hemorrhoid ointment and let the thieves enjoy their ill-gotten gains. This wouldn't be so problematic if the reception desk was well staffed. My mother is outgoing and nearly always pleasant. And mostly it wins over staff who are frequently stretched too thin. The final nit I will pick is that corporate-level employees are utterly unreachable. Don’t even try. It leaves one the impression that the corporation doesn’t care beyond the legal requirements.
