Recently we had to have my mother stay a Collierville nursing and rehab to receive rehabilitation services to help her return home. My brother and I had read some of the reviews and my brother decided instead of going off of what others said find out for ourselves. So he made an unannounced visit. The social worker was so gracious and took him on a tour of not just the first floor but of the whole facility. We noticed the place was so clean no smell of any kind of bodily fluids. The residents were clean and seemed happy so we made a decision to let her stay there. This was the best decision we made because in between time spent there she had to go to the hospital for a procedure that ended up turning into almost two weeks stay in the hospital and developed a blood clot and pneumonia and several new bed sores. This begins the journey of this where this facility truly shines. They asset the situation and aggressively targeted each health challenge and got her better all the while giving her great time and new friends. She said “the first floor team is the best”! If ever my mom needs 24 hour care I would not hesitate to call Collierville Nursing and Rehabilitation home for her and she agrees! A God send.

My brother was in this facility for about 10 days. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this location. Everyone was friendly and my brother loved his physical therapist and every nurse who came into his room. My husband and son were present when a tech came in to do an X-ray and they said he was wonderful. My brother even said the food was good. The building is older but it is clean and has no odor (as do many nursing facilities).
If could give more than 5 stars I would. The staff took such great care of my mother during her stay with them it gave a sense that we were among family. They even made sure that I was well prepare and trained on how to care for her at home once we discharged. The facility was clean in fact while spending so much time there I noticed that cleaning took place multiple times a day. Originally I was extremely nervous entrusting my mother to a skilled facility for rehabilitation but it proved to be a good choice since we were blessed to be apart of the Collierville nursing a rehabilitation family. Over all 10/10 the staff a medical team was great a provided more than what we expected.
I’m very happy with the nursing staff! They are professional and caring for my dad. They have kept my family updated on everything that is going on and the next process. One little thing that meant a lot to me was the caring of one night nurse. She went out of way by calling me on way home, to let me know that my dad had been sick all night! Concerned nursing staff is a major part of my dad’s recovery! Thanks! Jonathan Engler
I only gave this place one star because I had to in order to leave a review. My mother was here for three weeks and got the worst care and treatment I’ve ever seen in my life. Physical therapy was a joke. They never once took her to the physical therapy room because they said they had too many patients. My mother would say they were jerking her around and very rough when we were not there. The aides behind the nurses desk were rude and I dreaded having to ask a question. I cannot stress how rude they are here. You wait several hours for diaper change and then they condo mad they had to come. I called the director and emailed and still got no change. Her tv never worked even though I kept asking. The staff does not care about patients at all. They act like they can’t stand any of them. Mean, very mean to patients. I would look for a nurse only to be told there wasn’t one only aides on duty. . Stay away from here and never send your loved ones. It is a hellhole and should be shut down Immediately.
