The staff takes the time to listen to each resident and their family, and offers personalized support. Furthermore, the facility is clean, modern, and adapted to medical needs. I strongly advise against this establishment. During my visit, I was extremely disappointed by the reception. There are two ladies at reception who are particularly unpleasant: not a smile, not a kind word, and above all, I heard them criticizing residents and even colleagues right behind the counter. Totally inappropriate in a place that's supposed to be caring. Furthermore, I saw several elderly people asking for help, and the two young women present pretended to be nice, but didn't even deign to look at them or react. This is unacceptable. This kind of behavior shows a blatant lack of respect for the residents. Avoid it if you care about the well-being of your loved ones.
I am very concerned about the unequal treatment I observed in this nursing home. I noticed that foreign residents or those with accents are often treated with less consideration by some members of the team. Furthermore, there appears to be a difference in the quality of care based on residents' backgrounds and financial means. This lack of fairness is unacceptable and must be addressed to ensure the well-being of all residents.
I had the misfortune of working in this EHPAD when I was a first year nursing student. I advise all families looking to place their parents not to go to this EHPAD. Patients sometimes wait for long minutes in the dining room, sometimes even in their own stools, because they are too lazy to get up to change the person it seems. Awakenings are sometimes abrupt even if the patient does not want to get up. The shower time, which is normally a moment of relaxation and pleasure, is done in a hurry, no discussion is made with the patient, a lot of ignorance on the part of the patients. The instructions left by the families are not respected. The atmosphere of the staff is mediocre, the welcome needs to be reviewed and all the staff are unpleasant. TO RUN AWAY!!
I would like to thank the Arc-en-Ciel Ehpad for its dynamic and attentive team, its responsiveness and its ability to react in the event of a problem. I visit my grandmother and I am reassured to see that she is well taken care of and the services offered are top notch.
