I have the privilege of getting to know the residents who call our community home. I not only get to know them, I form meaningful relationships with them and their loved ones. I discover what brings them joy, what they value, what they hope to achieve, what makes their hearts sing, and what I can do to make their stay with us more comfortable, enjoyable, and fulfilling. I find ways to empower them, to engage them in activities that bring them purpose and happiness. I am here to enrich their lives, to celebrate their lives, and to bring smiles to their faces. As an Activity Director, my days are filled with purpose. I walk alongside our residents, exploring every corner of our community. My hands are often full, or you might catch me pulling a wagon or pushing a cart, as I plan, prepare, and research new ways to bring joy to our residents. I talk, I listen, I sing, and I dance – even though I may not be the most talented singer or dancer! I am a party planner, a decorator, a personal shopper, an advocate, a listener, and sometimes even a bus driver. I wear many hats, but my favorite role is that of a friend. I offer our residents kindness, compassion, conversation, and friendship. I am here to hold their hands, to encourage them, and to pray with them. I am here to support them when they need it most, whether it’s helping with daily tasks or simply being a listening ear. I am here to bring joy, to redirect, and to support our residents in any way I can. Sometimes, I am honored to wipe away their tears, to hear their stories, and to celebrate their triumphs. They have so much wisdom and experience to share, and I am grateful to be a part of their journey. I am here because I believe that every person deserves to live a life filled with purpose, joy, and love. I want to see our residents smile, to hear their laughter, and to know that they feel seen, heard, and valued. I want to support them, to encourage them, and to learn from them. Yes, some days can be exhausting, but the rewards far outweigh the challenges. There are times when I cry, when I feel frustrated, and when I need to take a deep breath and recharge. But I would not trade this journey for anything. Our residents, their families, and our team have become my family, and I am honored to be a part of their lives. Clinton Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care is more than just a community – it is a family, bound together by love, compassion, and a commitment to making every day count.

My home away from home ❤️ I love my residents, my team, and the families. It is a honor to be able to make a change in so many lives. Clinton Creek is the best 👌 🌹Your Clinton Creek Nurse ❤️
I cannot say enough for the care my mother received. As my mother disease progress the employees step up to meet her needs. The kindness and caring was amazing. These individuals exhibited the true meaning of love. I cannot thank Clinton Creek enough for helping my family though this difficult time. My mother has passed, but her time there made a world of difference. God bless all the staff. I appreciate all you do.
Our family made the difficult decision in Feb. 2022, to move my mom to a memory care facility. Having dealt with a corporate senior living situation during the pandemic, we were looking for something with more local control. Clinton Creek, being privately owned, fit the bill. My mom loved the activities, especially bingo, and the many social events held by the Clinton Creek staff, for residents and families. As she failed, we added Accent Care Hospice to her care. The staffs worked well together and were very supportive. Our mom's final days were a two week journey that was made easier by the great care she received by the staff. The family could go home at night knowing that our mom was being well cared for and checked on regularly. The staff, also looked after the family's needs while we kept vigil in her room. I will miss the fun and people of Clinton Creek but will probably visit to see the caring people that feel more like friends than caregivers. I and my family highly recommend Clinton Creek.
They have been a true life change for my father who has severe dementia and moderate Parkinson’s. The quality of care he has received is far better than the American House facility he was at previously. It was the best possible decision to move him, he is doing so much better. I think the small size combined with it being locally owned are major factors. They take care of their staff, which generally translates into the staff taking care of the residents. My dad has participated in more activities, crafts and entertainment in the past couple months than he did at the last place he was at in a few years. This has really helped his mental health and improved his quality of life. OCTOBER 2024 UPDATE: While I believe what I typed above at the time I typed it I have now come to be somewhat frustrated with some decisions this facility has made since we arrived. They have eliminated the creekside covered porch we would use every single time we visited my father to use it as storage. That was a real quality of life feature as we would sit for hours watching the birds come and go from the creek and chatting about stuff. They do not keep his bathroom cleaned well and there is an ongoing urine smell, despite me regularly requesting it be dealt with and paying the extra cost of incontinence care. They continue to have top notch special events for residents like their Luau, Halloween bash, Christmas party, etc. But regular weekly activities they are allowing my dad to opt out of more and more despite my requests not to do that because of his dementia and Parkinson’s needs. It’s still an ok place, but not the five stars I thought it was originally.
