The food was supposed to get better. But it has gotten even worse. Beef stew is served with out the stew. Lol. No liquid in it. What a joke. Osha needs to pay a visit

An absolutely horrifying experience. The direct- care staff were extremely rude, slow and uncaring. The facility smelled very strongly of urine and feces. The rooms were dirty, cluttered and stuffy. The food was atrocious. Occupational Therapist was lovely. Very thoughtful and involved. Promised services and kept her word. The nursing supervisor was very kind and accommodating, on the telephone. My mum was allowed to fall, on her first night, there. Her medication list was inaccurate. Waterbury Hospital - now, bankrupt, and good- riddance- prematurely discharged mum and neglected to inform Civita that she’d had a stroke. She ended up BACK in the hospital ( Midstate- EXCELLENT hospital), with a serious UTI. This place should lose its license and any certification. The chaos is frightening.
I love this place. The staff are always so kind and caring while taking care of my Mother. I know she’s in safe hands and the staff are wonderful.
Very nice facility. Very clean, safety checking procedures. With happy, helpful employees. Above and beyond the call to duty. Extra chairs and recommendations for lunch places nearby.
Food is absolutely the worst thing you can see in this world. It is absolutely heart wrenching to know this is what our elderly are eating.
