The Citadel provides a safe environment and stable level of care for the patients. The facility is nicely maintained and the staff is genuinely caring
I stayed here short-term while receiving radiation and other treatment. I was very impressed with the facility overall as compared to others in the area. It is extremely well managed, provides a comfortable environment, and is impeccably well managed. I found the nursing staff to be very well qualified and attentive. The administrators were all excellent - I was especially impressed by the DON. His depth of medical knowledge was simply nonpareil. I felt I was in good hands, I have complex issues medications. And the physical therapy department where I went for balance training was a great positive energy environment with dedicated staff. A+
Citadel of Skokie is an awesome place. Nice facility, and great staff.
I went for rehab for my hip replacement surgery. The Physical therapists were outstanding. Nursing staff was 2 Stars . Mix of patients with mental health issues. I was treated as a patient. I was there for rehab, not a good place for people who have no mental health issues
