Zero stars. They are an unorganized, nasty organization. Of course there are a few nice workers there but they are in the minority. They let my grandmother, who was in the end stage of her life, lie in bed alone with no water swabs over night. I could only be sure proper care was being given when family came to do it ourselves. The bed sheets were never changed, the admin came in the first day to discuss funeral arrangements right in front of my grandmother. Absolutely disgusting behavior. It may look good on the outside but my experience shows me a hollow picture. Take your loved ones to a place where there is more care of you can be sure you will have the time to watch over them yourselves. Shame on you Phoebe for prioritizing profits over care. You all get paid enough to care, I heard several discussing pay in loud voices right in front of my grandmothers room. Good thing she was mostly deaf or she’d NEVER get any rest. Loud, unprofessional, uncaring staff for the most part.

Food pretty good. Mostly clean. Therapists are good. Not enough staff. Mom has not had a shower for 11 days and counting. Patients get wheeled to dining room, but hard to get them to take you back
My family member is very happy living in Phoebe's Miller PCH. The location is convenient for family to visit. Common areas on each floor and in the lobby are great for visiting in a larger group. My family member's health has improved now that she is getting proper nutrition exercise, and responsible medication administration. She is very independent minded and was reluctant to enter assisted living. All doubts have disappeared. She is relieved to live in a place where she has friends activities, and does not have to worry and struggle with daily tasks that were overwhelming her. The only issue is making sure everyone else in my family knows to place new clothing items in the bin to be labeled. Otherwise, they are not sorted properly during sorting.
Although the nurses and aides are wonderful...the administration clearly has no 8dea what is going on . No communication at all ... discharge was a nightmare...the discharge planner was totally useless to us . This was a horrible experience for us . Please if you send your loved one there go see them everyday . They also only bath people once a week ...horrible and so sad.
Therapies are great. Nursing and aides on rehab floor are not. No caring attitudes, no teamwork, takes half an hour to answer the call light. Understaffed. Feels like a bad nursing home. So upset on sending my loved one here. Would never recommend.
