So far we have been treated very well by the staff. It has made our transition of getting things done quite pleasurable. Sarah Fails our patient social worker has explained things very thoroughly and is doing extra for us because we are from out of town. Have not assessed the nursing staff or the nurses station on the floor are patient is on. I feel they should be a little bit more social and positive on their duties. Seems like they try to ignore us! But we are strangers. And it takes time! Has time goes on I'm sure all this will change. But until then this is the best my review can be.

Where do I even begin . This community and the staff was incredible back when they were a 180 beds but, now not so much including the support staff . I have tried getting in contact with the Human Resources department for about 3 weeks now to obtain employment verification documents as I was a previous employee at this community . I have been transferred to her office numerous times , left numerous messages , managed to get a hold of her on Monday which she rushed me off the phone stating she has my documents on her desk and , she will sent them immediately . Didn’t give a me a chance to verify if she had the right email . I think she did that just to get me off the phone . I have been trying to get a hold of this lady to send over my documents to me no response . As I said , this company and the Staff was incredible back then , all I need is for my documents to be emailed to me . Such lack of respect of one’s time . If Human Resources is this way , I can only imagine what the rest of the support team is like .
This facility is under-staffed. I've visited the Rehab Center on Presidents Day and at first thought the place was okay. The receptionist was helpful. The first time I visited my friend did get assistance from nurses. However, a patient sharing a room, stole my buddy's cellphone and exposed himself, disgusting. Now, the most recent time I went on Sunday March 2, 2025, something seemed off. There was an elderly gentlemen screaming for help in his room. No one came for him, until my friend visiting with me got the nurse's attention. Cherrydale, you need to have more nurses on staff and be more professional at assisting those that are not physically well. I heard on Saturday, they delayed an infusion because of lack of assistance, this is unacceptable. Also, CD failed to contact us that our buddy was transferred to VHC. Now VHC wants to take my pal back to CD, absolutely not. If you have a loved one, please send them somewhere else. The building looks very outdated and unsanitary. Please do your research and avoid this place.

There are few good staff members. But the one that really stands out is an AMAZING person. This staff member shows a great deal of compassion and caring as well as great work ethics and integrity. I appreciate this person and very confident and reassured without any worries when she is on duty. I am grateful to Cherrydale Health and Rehabilitation Center for having such as person, on the team.
