My mother lived at Chateau Girardeau in her 90's until her death just shy of what would have been her 100th birthday. She and we, her children, were very pleased with her life there. She enjoyed the many activities, other residents (some had been her classmates at SEMO before WWII), and the excellent care. We greatly appreciate her life at the Chateau, and the wonderful staff.
I’d rather not even give this place one star but can’t leave a review with out it. This is directed to HR and the manager of dietary, how are y’all gonna hire my husband tell him if he tells you everything about his back ground like he did that he’ll get a call with his start date but fail to even get a hold of him and tell him yourself that y’all can’t hire him had to find out by someone else? Talking about how he has too many felony’s. Keep in mind he only has 2 NONE DRUG CHARGES but hire a med tech with drugs charges? Make it make sense.
My mother lives in one of the lovely homes in the Chateau Estates. If I could design a home, it would be just like hers! The bedrooms are spacious, she has a formal dining room and living room, 2 full baths, large storage closets, 2 car garage, family room and lovely kitchen with an office off of the kitchen. I love staying in her guest room when I visit. the grounds keepers and friendly and professional and the housekeepers do a wonderful job. My mother could not be in a better environment!
Therapy is above all the best. My mother had the best treatment the entire time. She is 81 had a broken hip and left there to her home and two weeks later is driving. All of the nurses and techs go above and beyond their duties. Highly recommend.
