Charter Senior Living of Newport News is a well-maintained facility, truly a reflection of their commitment to care. My loved one has received compassionate care at this location for the past six years. I am highly pleased with their implementation of regular care plans to facilitate individualized care. There are a variety of activities and amenities, as well as inspiring food menu offerings that cultivate comfort and fulfillment. I extend my gratitude to CSL staff for their genuine care.
Charter senior living is a fantastic facility! I love it! the staff is always so nice and friendly, My love one have been at this location for over 2 years and it’s been nothing but a great experience. The facility is always so clean and smells nice you can tell that the executive Director Angel Lawhorn take pride in her job and making sure the building is being ran properly and smoothly! When ever I need anything or have questions Angel is always there to help with no hesitations. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a senior living ! It’s a 10 out of 10 !
I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Jones for a VIP tour of Charter Senior Living of Newport News. First impressions are lasting, and I was immediately welcomed by a pleasant receptionist, experienced a punctual appointment, and received a thorough tour of the rooms I was interested in, along with a comprehensive overview of the facility’s amenities. As I explored options for moving my mother from The Harmony on the Peninsula in Newport News—due to significant issues there—Charter quickly became a strong contender. In comparison, the Sales/Marketing Director and facilities at Commonwealth at Hampton and The Hidenwood ranked as a distant third and fourth, respectively. Ms. Jones made my decision especially difficult with her professionalism, timely updates, prompt responses to my inquiries, and expertise in addressing my mother’s needs and concerns. Ultimately, with all factors being equal except for pricing, I chose another assisted living facility based on its smaller community size and initial promotional pricing. Time will tell if forgoing a well-established facility with seasoned, professional staff and management was the right choice. If not, I would have no hesitation in considering Charter again.
I am never turned away when asking for various questions and help. Those nurses aids I have a lot of respect for. My brother in law definitely has his favorite aids also. Thanks ladies for always trying to give this family a hands up when we need it. It’s nice to know he is in caring hands
